We stayed here once the night before an early-morning flight from East Midlands Airport.
The hotel form a part of the big services building between the M1 and the airport. It is located too far to walk to the airport, and a taxi cost us £7.
The room was absolutely fine: clean, comfortable, tea and coffee making facilities, TV, bathroom Absolutely ideal for an overnight stay, even if lacking the charm and character of a hotel which you might prefer for a longer stay.
In the services area are the usual eating establishments, and a Marks & Spencer food shop, where you can buy a wide range of sandwiches and drinks.
There are 80 car parking spaces for the Travelodge, which are free of charge if you are staying overnight.
I paid £19 for the room, so this makes it ideal for those who need a night's sleep before morning flights. read more
