I already knew that this hotel was historic and would look so inside, and we really enjoy the restored, old-fashioned fittings and windows and ceilings. Of course, you have everything you need in a hotel room, and the room interior is very sleek with everything you would expect, including it's clean, and comfortable.
If you were able to choose your room, it is especially fun to sit in a corner room, because we have windows on two sides, of course, and it just really adds to the fun of staying in this room. We checked in using the Hilton Honors app, and when we got here, everyone that worked on staff, and the valet parking and behind the counter are super nice and friendly. In the morning, the staff that we met were super nice and friendly and all in all, we highly recommend this hotel if you're coming to stay in Montgomery for any reason.
Note, when we arrived, we were having trouble with the air conditioner system, and when I reported it to the lady downstairs, she immediately took action and within minutes it was cool again. Plus, she loaned me the fan that they keep downstairs to use overnight. It wasn't needed, though, because it got cool right away.
They have free breakfast, like at most Hamptons, and this one down here is like they always are, plentiful, choices of foods, hot and cold, cereals, breads, bagels, sweets, oatmeal. And Belgian waffles! And everything you need for your coffee or hot chocolate. And fruit! Water, milk, and juice.
