For those who don't know, the Corso International Theater, is a English based theater, where American movies are shown. This place might be small at first look but the fact that I was able to watch an American film in English at a theater was a experience I was willing to go to. The staff are extremely friendly and they do serve common movie theater snacks, such as, ice cream, candy, popcorn, etc. Also they sell several movie posters from classic films like Star Wars. If you live in the Stuttgart area or your just visiting the country, this is the place to be.

The ambiente is okay, the personal is friendly. But it's pretty expensive and it got more expensive - maybe to compensate the costs for the new look. It was 5 Euros on Mondays and Tuesdays which is now 6 Euros. On the weekend it was 7 and now is 8. Why this? The movies didn't get better, the visitors don't get any extras and as I heard from somebody working there, the workers payment is low as ever. One thing that's absolutely not okay is: They DO check the age of the visitors on FSK18 movies pretty good - that's really nice. But how come I saw families - including 12 year old (or maybe younger) kids - watching Tal der Wölfe which was FSK16 or FSK18? AFAIK there are no different laws here So how come? But back to the rating. Besides those inconveniences the cinema is okay. At least it's better than the one in Heidenheim, which is totally screwed up. But 8 Euros on Prime-Time? Come on guys!
