I have passed Traumkuh many times walking down the Bergerstraße and I finally decided to give it a try. The restaurant itself is interesting. Firstly, there is a large faux cherry blossom tree hovering over the dining room. It really made the restaurant feel cramped and cave like. The cherry tree didn't make any sense with the rest of the decor. I have a feeling they got it from a "Rituals" going out of business sale.
Anyways, we decided to eat outside because it was just too stuffy.
We ordered a cheeseburger, chicken burger, and fries. We paid about €30 in total.
Unfortunately they messed up our order and I had to wait for my burger while my bf's burger got cold. Seems to be an issue based on other reviews which is strange as their menu is quite small. Maybe a better ticketing system would help?
Anyways, the chicken burger itself was simply ok. Tasted like curry and it was nothing I would eat again. The fries were good but soggy. They definitely had been sitting awhile. My cheeseburger was decent but the overwhelming curry flavor was off putting. I wasn't a fan because the curry ruined the meat flavor. Also we could tell they use fillers in the meat (bread crumbs) which is a no no for the price we paid. Don't think I will eat here again.
