We didn't care what the restaurant was, we were eating there because it was lunchtime and there was nothing else around. In the end, we discovered new pasta (Mandilli), had the best pesto I've ever eaten, and had a strawberry dessert so tasty and fresh. Nothing compares.
I've never had Mandilli pasta before, nor have I seen it. I'm now on a quest to make it at home in the USA.
Oddly, they do not serve pizza at lunchtime here. That was disappointing to me until I started eating my pasta and then I was like, "what pizza?" But I think it's a giant pizza. They have big wooden holders for it and it looks from the menu that it feeds 4 minimum.
