It's unfortunate that this place didn't live up to my expectations, but I should have read the reviews prior to visiting. First of all, it's almost impossible to find out whether this place is open or not. We'd walked by this restaurants for months but the lights were always off even when we walked by. That should have been sign number one. My roommate and I finally decided to try it one night and just walked in even though the restaurant was dark. The hostess then noticed us and turned them on. Kind of odd, but ok. She was always the waitress and may have been the owner now that I think about it. She was really kind and sweet so it's unfortunate that the food doesn't match the people. I ordered the vegan ravioli and it just wasn't anything life changing. It had some pesto and tomato sauce with what I assume was an almond based cheese. I ate it but it was something that I could've made at home.
I think what this restaurant is missing is some direction. Like, is it an Italian vegetarian restaurant? Then incorporate more Italian dishes with a vegetarian twist. Is it just a vegetarian restaurants? Then update the menu to include more innovative and unique dishes. read more
