This small, atmospheric restaurant is located in a small alleyway from the pope square to the main shopping street. Somewhat hot downstairs but nice and cool upstairs.
Among the customers are also older Italian folks, which says something about the authenticity.
We had the good, large plate of 'Fantasia Di Mare' antipasto (one plate is good for two!) and a couple of primo plates to try the various types of pasta they serve. As almost everywhere the primo piati pasta is basic (as it should with a primo), but here it was delicately seasoned (try e.g. the home made raviolli).
In the end we ate and drank for ~E25 pp, but were truly stuffed to the brim.
The only downside was the somewhat bland red housewine. read more
