The weather was nice to be outside and we liked that the umbrellas helped with the shade . Staff was very friendly and accommodating. We were a party of 10 and they made sure that we had enough shade. The menu has a variety of foods, but does not overwhelm. Each plate was delivered in a timely manner and hot even with a big party like ours. The flavors and portions are good. The only downfall which is not the restaurants fault was that we got visited by bees. The staff tried to do their best with them, but we also did not want to make the bees mad. Just keep in mind that you might get a visit from them while you are having your meal. Next time we are in Dolores Hidalgo we will be visiting again and trying different foods and maybe their desserts.

The 4 stars I give is relative to what your options are here. Not bad at all. Good guacamole. Pretty boring Queso Fundido ... do I not undertsand what queso fundido is? ... this was a wad of cheese semi-melted in a bowl. As I am not a queso fundido expert, I'm not going to judge... but I am going to describe. Bowl... cheese. Eat it quickly with a fork and/or chips or wait a few minutes and expect to use a knife in a repeated sawing motion. I'm just assuming that if you give it any more than ten minutes to consume, the approach is to beat it on the edge of table, chip away pieces of cheese and gather them up. If you want to save it for the very end of the meal I'm guessing you have to yell "Pull!!" and shoot it like skeet. But the beer that came to the table was very cold and arrived with a chilled mug. Much appreciated. Sandra, our server, was really friendly. In looking around on Yelp, I see that there are places that you should pick ahead of this one... but do not fear it either, as it has cold beer and good guacamole... do you really need anything else? Wait... I'm remembering... the people at the next table were more adventurous than us (and apparently a lot hungrier) and their plates looked full and pretty good. And when they left the table, the plates were empty and they looked happy, and by that I mean not palid.
