THIS IS IN REFERENCE TO THE SEARCY LOCATION GFL..I worked up there for about 2 months cleaning and taking care of everything. I received so many compliments from people telling me the place looked better than ever and I was the best help they'd ever seen. I spent many days working off the clock since the lady running the scales told me I wouldn't get paid for anything I did after 3. Well then I received a call saying they were doing cut backs and my job was no longer available and this was on the same day I showed up at 7 a.m. while it was raining and started working. I made it to the window at 7.15 a.m. and told the lady I was there and all she had to say was " your hours don't start till 7.30. I said I know this and continued to work anyway. I cleaned the mud and junk away from the scale to keep it from flooding just to have that lady working the desk up there tell me "we've got scale people that come out here to do that. I would weedeat the front of the building and side walks to keep them looking good for her to tell me "she wasn't worried about the grass and she had people that come mow" but now she brought her own weedeater to work so the guy before me could weedeat. She showed absolutely no appreciation I guess because I was female? Because the guy before me she let do whatever he wanted and even brought him a picture of herself from a long time ago in a bathing suit to work for him to look at. That's real professional. I'm not sure what Donna was thinking because obviously it's nothing like you look today. Wishful thinking tho I guess. But still very unprofessional. She stayed on the phone running someone else's trash company and would have traffic backed up to the road. I even went in there one day and told her she had a line to the road and she said she didn't care. So GFL needs to get better help running that place instead of a jealous cow running the scale house. read more
