I have had this service for over 3 years and just recently had a problem with a bill and a credit I was told twice would be given to my account. The credit was not issued and they interrupted my service. The first girl I spoke to was very rude and hung up on me. Then I spoke to the manager who assured me they had issued the credit and would have either the truck come back out or someone come and pick up my garbage by the next day. They did neither and so I am sure they are going to make me wait till my next regular day (which means I paid for service I did not receive, again) I will be switching services. read more

I couldn't be happier with trash away. We used to have waste management after they bought out most of the trash companies in Henry co.. waste management Had no costumer service and always sending threating letters about payment and we got use to them missing our house on trash day. Trash Away is so much easier to work with, customer service is local and friendly and worked with me when I forgot my payment and didn't charge a late fee. I really appreciated them sending out a letter saying they were raising the monthly bill 2 dollars a month Usually I just receive my bill with an increase with other companies. read more

I've had their service for years, matter of fact I was just bragging and referring this company to my whole neighborhood, until now. All the sudden my bill skyrockets $30 more a quarter without any notice. I had to call to find out when they refused to pick up my trash. The office personal was very rude and just kept repeating herself. I ask to have a call back from the owner and she told me he would not be calling me back. I can see how much he cares about his customers. I'd rather pay another company a few more dollars than to deal with such rude people. As soon as this quarter is over I'll be moving on. Called the office Tony. I was told that you are never there so I couldn't speak to you and girl just gave me the same song and dance. My review stands. read more

Lady that answered the phone stated she was the manager was very rude raised her voice and hung up on me so not use them they are not professional at all read more

Poor customer service, missed my trash pickup. Even my ring door camera, video me putting it out the night before. Going with another company, I see why they only have one star. read more

I switch to Trash Away in April. Paid in advance for the next three months. They dropped off my new trash container earlier than they originally stated. I was very impressed until my first pick up was missed. I put the can out Thursday, May 6th at 5:00pm, for a Friday pick up. Called the company around 2:45pm on Friday to find out why my garbage wasn't picked up. First they disconnected me before I could complete the conversation. I tried to call back several time, the call went into voice mail, could not leave a message because it was full. Called from my cell phone, young lady picked up, explained the situation. Supposedly she checked with the drive, said they were by my house around 9:20ish. Tried to call back to find out the status of my service, they would not answer the phone. If I have to hire a lawyer to get my money returned because of their lack of service, I will. I should have believed all of the negative reviews, instead of trying to save a few dollars being a senior on a fixed income. read more

wow so many terrible reviews over the last year and that's when I noticed my service getting poor to. I have been with these people since the start and always supported them. But recently I got the abuse i'm reading from the girls inside. the driver tore my lid off the can, my dad saw it but couldn't catch him as he's 75 but he told me about it. and I called that afternoon after close and Ieft a message,(no reply for a week) the next week I called and left another message(no reply after a week) I gave up.....2 weeks(4 weeks after the incident) I got a call from her and the attitude of your screwing up my day voice. she asked what lid I needed and I informed her if you had listened to my voicemails you'd have known its MY trashcan not yours I paid for it....then it went right to oh well its not our property so nothing we can do and hung up. I literally feel bad for giving out their info as a good business all these years and hope any who listened to me don't experience this. read more

This company is horrible the people who work in the office are very unprofessional just plan out rude. The sent out the holiday schedule for Christmas and New Year my pick up day is on a Monday. Christmas Eve fell on a Monday they came we even left a Christmas gift for the collector. The following week New Years Eve which is also on a Monday they were a no show. Keep in mind I have 8 cameras outside my home. We put the trash out every Sunday night because they pick up very early in the morning. I contacted them on Monday afternoon once I realized the trash was still out there no once answered so I left a voice mail. No one called back. So on Wednesday I called the young lady answered the phone very rude. I say I'm calling about my pick and she says what day I said Monday she says well it would have been picked up Monday and I tell her it was she says well that's cause your trash was not out there as I'm telling her it was she says if my driver says it was not then it was not what is your address I give it to her she says he came at 5:45am and it wasn't there I tell her is was I have proof she again tells me like I said the driver says it wasn't so you missed it. I'm trying to explain I have camera proof she hangs up in my face I call back she doesn't answer this went on for a lil while then she finally answers and tells me well he said a tree was down he couldn't get to you. The weather was beautiful that day no trees were down in fact my neighbors who use other companies trash was picked up no problem. It is 4 days later my trash is still there. I have requested a manager, I have sent emails. I have still yet to speak with this manager no one has responded to my emails. I keep being put on hold or that the manage will call me back. I paid for service for Jan-March back mid Dec I don't even won't to use the company but no will call me to cancel and to discuss my refund for pre paid service read more

When I initially started my account almost a year ago, the customer service/receptionist was nice. I called today at 8:00 am and someone answered the phone, after that the phone stayed busy for a long period of time. Then finally she just doesn't answer the phone at all. She lets it go to voice mail continuously. When I did speak with her it was to find out why my garbage wasn't picked up and she said I didn't pay my bill. I advised I never received a bill. She was very RUDE and said well it was mailed out in December. So whether you got it or not it wasn't paid and I was charged a $10 late fee. I don't believe a bill was ever mailed. I think this company is losing so much business that they are trying to make up for it by not sending bills and charging late fees. It's obvious that if a company is growing, they would have more than one person answering the phone and setting up accounts. Same situation with my sister who lives next door. We both never got a bill. We both will be leaving this company and I would NOT recommend anyone else to them!! Horrible customer service!!!! I guess you get what you pay for!! read more
