Customer service gets 2 Stars from me. I registered as a new customer with this company, they brought out a "very used" trash can, but had new ones in stock. When I requested a refund, they gave resistance. Finally, issued a refund, but kept some of my money. The office staff aren't too customer-friendly. read more

I have been a customer for over five years. Over the past 5-6 months, there has been a noticeable decline in service. My trash can is frequently left on the lawn instead of being returned to the driveway where it is collected and on more than one occasion trash was left on the driveway even after an extra pickup was requested and approved. When I contacted the company today, I noticed the service name is now Arrow Waste, which may coincide with these changes. I also attempted to call to cancel service, but my call was not answered. read more

They love to throw my trash in my yard. They are rude. They also don't always pick it up.

Customer service is -0. I have been calling for 3 weeks to have my trash bin picked up since I cancelled service with them. Each time I'm given a day for pick-up, they never show up. My reason for cancelling was because their price increased, but service decreased. They leave trash in the streets. You can tell when it's their trash pick up day for my sub division, because the streets are filled with litter on that day. Now all I want is for them to pick up their trash bin, I've moved on. read more

So I've been dealing with this company for 6 years and never really had a complaint.. But why today I come home work and my trash was picked up but they left a whole bag of trash on the ground and also a box that I left right beside the trash can too be thrown away? I know the trash suppose too be inside the can but if I leave it right beside the can that means whatever I leave there can't fit but also needs too be thrown away.. So why leave it there? read more

The lady that answers the phone will make y'all lose customers. Very rude and not pleasant at all.

TERRIBLE COMPANY! They didn't pick up my trash one Friday so I called to see what happened. (I always put my trash out Thursday night). The lady who answered the phone was very rude. It was about 3pm Friday and she told me that there was nothing she could do until Monday because she had to check the cameras. She also told me that her driver's come at 5am and the driver told her that my trash was NOT out. I told her that wasn't true but still she said nothing she could do until Monday. She told me that they would credit my account for the missed pickup. So, Monday comes and I call them again. The same rude lady reassures me that her driver will pick up my trash if he has time. Her driver never comes! Now it's Friday again and 10am. Now my trash is piled up with 2 weeks of trash. I call them again and inform them that my trash was not picked up again. The same rude lady says she is confused because her driver has not picked up trash in that area yet. Now she tells me that her driver's come at different times and it's not always 5am. I asked her about the credit on my account for last week's missed pickup. She says I won't be getting any credit. I asked her then why was I told I would get a credit on my account for last week then. She puts me on hold and comes back to the phone to tell me I will get a $5 credit. She asked me is there anything else she can help me with, and I said yes have your driver's come on time. She tried to get smart saying the drivers do come on time and will be there today. I told her that I was referring to last week when her driver didn't come at all! I also told her that I pay for the drivers to come weekly thank you. DO NOT USE THIS EXTREMELY RUDE COMPANY! THE DRIVERS WILL MISS PICKUPS AND LIE ABOUT IT AND APPARENTLY THE CLERK WILL TRY TO COVER FOR THE LAZY DRIVERS WHO DONT KNOW HOW TO DO THEIR JOBS PROPERLY. read more

HORRIBLE TRASH SERVICE AND CUSTOMER SERVICE. EXTREMELY UNPROFESSIONAL!!! They don't deserve 1 star. That's why they are rated so low. Their truck left a large spot right in front of my house. It was a mixture of oil, trash and trash juice. They denied it and refused to do anything about it. I told them I have pictures and video of incident and they still refused. I have been with this company over 10 years. Back when it was a sister, brother and mom in the office! I had never had an issue with my trash being removed. Drivers are courteous. Ladies in office are professional and nice. I have moved twice and continued my service with this company. I would recommend this business. read more

Called to set up service at my new place the Manager Kayla and associate Angel were the rudest people I ever experienced in the customer service department. I wanted to setup service because I seen my neighbor had this trash company. But I will not recommend to anyone please do not get this place or SPEND MONEY HERE!! read more

For starters, this company doesn't know what customer service is. The office staff takes no accountability for anything. I've called about trash not being picked up with video evidence to show there was no truck. They respond by saying their drivers were early and the trash wasn't out. When I present evidence, they go on a rant and debate me over the phone. What a company! In addition, they play games like not sending out your billing statement and having your account suspended. Please, find a different company to collect your trash. Also, if you leave a review under your name, they'll look you up in their system. Talk about playing games, they're full of them. Now watch them take time to reply to a review, instead of improving their service. This trash company is GARBAGE! read more

Used to be my fav, however, my experience with the office staff was beyond frustrating. Incredibly rude and never let me finish a sentence. Just wow. The truck came to pick up trash, but left the trash in my can....why? Don't I have the right to know? They insisted they have video that it stopped in front of my house...well, why didn't they take the trash?!!!!!!! Trying to pass it off as my fault somehow. Wow...what a tactic the office staff seems to use on not just me. Not to mention, they went up by a lot. TRAIN YOUR PEOPLE OR GET NEW ONES. THEY ARE RUDE. read more

WARNING: Do not use this company at all ever it is horrible and the people there are absolutely indescribable with how disrespectful they are. Customer Service is a -7. If I could give them negative stars I would. People are highly disrespectful and manager does not seem to care. In fact she seems to support it. Have had their services for over a year that have been minimal at best and rates have increased. Will be finding a new service provider immediately. Update: in an attempt to close the account had to sit on hold for over an hour to then be met immediately with hostility and an attitude by the customer service representative that continued to repeat I don't understand what you don't understand about the account. Her tone was extremely disrespectful aggressive and hostile I will be reporting them to the Better Business Bureau along with any other company that deals with the satisfaction of a customer. This is absolutely ridiculous to have to deal with someone even when you're being polite kind the call can be reviewed and the disrespect is absolutely ridiculous. read more

The ladies in the office are the rudest for no reason. I canceled my service via email. They claimed I never confirmed. I wasn't rude because I know mistakes happen, but Angel was immediately rude. I called back to speak to the manager and she was rude. She claimed she would review the phone and apologize if her employee was wrong for saying the things she said. The manager then fussed at me and told me "You don't get to do that! Don't you point your fingers " as if I'm a child. Customer service is Extremely Horrible. Majority of the reviews are horrible in reference to the ladies working in the office. I have the email showing I confirmed with them. read more

RUN AWAY! DO NOT RECOMMEND! I paid for one year up front. So I'm stuck! At first they did not get me my can for 2 weeks. The lady that answers the phone told me i needed to be patient. They forgot my can several times. When I called to remind them to pick up my can they told me that via GPS they were out here and would not be coming back. Once they started coming on time they would get trash all over my road and not clean it up. Once I told them after 4 weeks of me cleaning it up. She said,"Ummm that is not MY DRIVERS. They would never do that." She was rude each time and was yelling at me on the last call. I took pictures and she didn't care. I went to "make a review" they were already horrible on google and yelp. I should have looked first. I have called 3 times asking for the owner Tony by name and he has never returned my call. ‍ Via the other comments below they will attempt to make me look as if I'm wrongly accusing them of something. However, please know I DO NOT, I WILL NOT ever recommend them. read more

I am a new customer, my garbage was not picked up. I waited until 5pm to bring My 4 bags back into my yard. I called at about 8:30am the next day to find out why my garbage has not been picked up, unfortunately the young lady who answered my call was extremely rude. I was told I needed to wait until the cameras were viewed and she could not let me know when or if the truck will be back around . Meanwhile my garbage was outside from the night prior to my service date which was said to be Wednesday. I asked to speak to a manager and of course was denied. I am a current customer. I'm not sure for how much longer. It's the week of Christmas and no consideration was taken that there would be more trash than any other week. The absolutely worst trash service I have EVER had in my life. Not being dramatic these people are awful. They did not pick up my trash then told me they have a video of the trash being picked up. I emailed them a picture of the trash still here and the manager had the audacity to suggest I must have filled it up and want them to come back and get it. I just moved to this home and it's very disheartening to think these are our service providers in Henry County. I fired them and a week later they tell me it take 2 weeks for them to pick up the trash! Their service is trash and so is their customer service. I DO NOT recommend this "company". I don't do business with any business that do not respect my dollars. They have no respect for me as a customer and a citizen of Henry county or my neighbors! Thankfully I have a new company to pick up this week. And what's in the trash can will stay for your guys to pick up! read more

Pretty good actually...even when I've forgotten to bring the trash out the night before, they have passed my house and have stopped on the way out of the neighborhood to grab my trash (probably because the next morning I ran into the middle of the street to prevent them from leaving in just a t-shirt and underwear). Trash Away Sanitation - Poor service.. Rather argue what customer than pick up trash - Junk Removal & Hauling Near Me - Hampton, Georgia

We've had Trash Away for a few years now. Started with them when we wanted to get away from a big company that didn't seem to care about their customers. At first we really like Trash Away and things went on pretty smoothly. Then they began to see a lot of growth and their customer service seems to go down hill from there. When we got the notice at the end of the month that their prices were going up (we have 2 cans) $15, we decided to check around. I didn't pay the new bill and quit putting garbage out to the curb until we hired on with a new company. They did not contact us regarding pickup of their cans, instead showed up here this evening, came up to the house and took their cans. The garbage that we had in them, they dumped in our ditch down by the driveway. ‍ I'm going to check with the police department to see what can be done. read more

I moved out of my home and paid for an additional can to be picked up. Two weeks later I rode by the home and the can is still their, with waste on the floor. I called and told them I paid for the can to be picked up and was told by the supervisor that the can was not picked up because the workers said it was too heavy! I asked why did I not get a call so I could have transferred the trash to the empty can since I still had the two weeks paid to pick up the trash.. NO RESPONSE. I then said so can someone pick it up this week so I can make the can lighter by transferring the garbage and was told it was too late , my service has expired for the month and I would have to pay for another month to make that happened, Again if I was called!!! I could have done this before my payment expired!!! I was told I would get my $5 refunded back. A week later I called to speak to the manager which was the same clown I spoke with before and was told the same thing. When asked about my refund she said it would take 7-10 business days. As soon as I hung up the phone I received my $5 credit!! It obliviously was never processed. All this explains why they have an overall low rating. CHOOSE ANOTHER COMPANY IF YOU CAN!! read more

I would not recommend this company to anyone. The lady who answers the phone is extremely rude. She have hung up on me before. They skipped my garbage and when i called her customer service was so horrible that I decided to discontinue service with them. Any time I've called she was very rude. I paid for a year up front. I asked what do I need to do to get a refund? She said leave the cans empty and they will pick them up. I had to pay a 3rd party company to empty the trash I paid them to remove. It's been 3 weeks and they have yet to come pick the cans up. When I call from my number they ignore me, as soon as I call from another number they answer and knew who I was by first and last name once she hear my voice. This company need to be shut down. We have been with them, ever since we moved to McDonoug. The previous house owners been with them and we just took over then. I usually pay by the year and forget about it. Since there is a thing called auto pay. Well today was trash day and our can was out as it is supposed to be. Trash was not picked up for us. I checked my email and saw a bill from the, which was send to me YESTERDAY. I went ahead and payed it right away. I called the office right at 8 to see what was going on and had to leave a message. When I got an email with pay confirmation, it had a different number so I called that. It was answered and I told the Lady who I was and what was going on. She said she will have to review the camera and she will call me back. Literally 2 minutes later she called and said we did not pay our bill. I told her that I just got the bill yesterday and payed it a few minutes ago. She said it was due last month and she tried to call a couple of times, but the phone number was not in service. I had her read the number to me and told her it was incorrect. She said this is what they have in the system, so I told her whomever put it in there did it wrong obviously. I told her if a number is out of service, best business practice would be to email or send a letter to costumers. Apparently, she emailed me a couple of times. Those emails magically did not show up in my email. The last emails I got from them was the bill yesterday and the pickup schedule for the 4th of July. We went back and forth on the email, so I had enough and told her to refund my money, otherwise I will file a dispute with my bank. This lady is rude as hell. She is the reason I switched to GFL. I guess the owner does not care if they loose business. Just look at the reviews about that woman alone. The trash can is on the street and full, if they want it, they can come and get it. I won't empty it for them. read more

BEWARE!!! All of the negative reviews are correct. They promised me a new can when I signed up. The lady that ALWAYS answer the phone said the owner said he can't waste gas bringing out another can. I explained it was nasty and smelled of stale cigarettes among other gross things. The lady hung up. I went with this company because initially they were cheaper than the others. They have passed my trash on many occasions and I had to wait until the next week- again, I spoke with "the rude lady" who lied and said my trash wasn't out. I started with them in 2017, it's Jan 2019 and i switched on the 14, but they haven't gotten my trash since the 7th. I didn't pay to restart the service and it's the 31st..the can is still sitting on my curb after the lady who answers the phone keeps promising they'll be there today. She is VERY rude!!!! I just got off the phone with her again after explaining my hoa has contacted me regarding the can on the curb for 16 days. I have had service with this company for about a year, if not longer. I have never had an issue before. Wednesdays are my pick up days. I am current on my bill. In fact, my next bill is not due until April 1. This past Wednesday our bin was on the curb, I left for work about 9 am noticed our can was still full and my 2 neighbors who use them did not. Well I don't know how much trash they really had so I went on to work. I got home about 2 pm. My neighbors had already pulled their cans up to their homes so I called Trash Away, the lady said the driver was still on route and would call me back once she heard something. She left a message to call her back since I missed her call. I called about 4pm. She said the driver stated he did pick up my trash and I should look in my can. I made the call within their 24 hr window of missed pick up policies. I said I don't need to look in the can because the lid is a jarred with bags of trash. So she said she would have to talk to the owner on what to do. I called yesterday when I left for school about 9 am and she said she spoke to the owner but was waiting to hear back on what to do, but she would call back once she heard. She never called back and it was after hours when I got home. I got home and the trash was still on the curb. I called this morning on my way to work she said the owner knows about the situation but she still doesn't have an answer, but she would call back once she did. I told her well now my trash bin is overflowing. I don't get it how complicated is it to send the driver back over to do his job and pick up my trash. I have to pay the bill then they should have to do what they are paid to do. They say no trash will be picked up if it's sitting next to the bin, well where am I suppose to sit it now? read more

Funny how I see the reviews and experience the exact same thing as Everyone else. Spoke with Stephanie this morning because my trash was not picked up yesterday. Extremely rude all I asked this person was do they not send out reminders to customers that a bill is past due, they do not. I have no problem paying and have paid them faithfully over the years, would have appreciated customer service to send a friendly reminder. I'm sure they have 90 day terms with their creditors and are past due as I type this review.
