On one particular day, I could hear her voice through the wall obviously talking to a grown-up on the phone. I continued to listen. I can understand the need to once in awhile take a phone call during a session, but she made continuous phone calls throughout the 30 minute session. She would periodically tell my son, "Yes, play with that toy." or "Good!" But that was the only interaction she had with my son. When the session was over I talked to her about what I heard. She emphatically denied talking on the phone throughout the session. That was our last time at her office for "speech therapy."

Hilary Lamb met with a very anxious me this morning and was absolutely incredible. I left our meeting feeling empowered and confident. Hilary is a former special education teacher, with a ton of experience, who knows how the system works and has great ideas for helpful accommodations. She's incredibly organized, thorough, patient, easy to talk to, and gives examples of helpful ways to say/handle tough conversations. At the end of the meeting she immediately emailed (no waiting!) to me a professionally written document with everything that we discussed. Thanks to Hilary's planning and guidance - I was empowered to advocate for my son in such a way that they accepted EVERY accommodation requested.

I feel like if you're gonna be one of the pioneers in automatic commode flushing, then you are obligated to continue the tradition of not forcing your visitors to kick a manual flush handle with their foot after doing their bidness. Totally disappointed with the lack of automatic flushing commodes (and also urinals). Especially after being the cornerstone leader in the fact that they were one of the first facilities to have installed automatic flushing commodes. But they have their conference rooms named after north Texas counties. So they have that going for them. Three stars. Bring back the automatic flushing commodes, and I'll give them another star.

Some of the teachers such as Nora and chessy are down to earth, brilliant and funny teachers. The receptionist Jessica was hands down the friendliest, most understanding one there. I won't name the other teacher but honestly I don't think she should be teaching anyone with her attitude. I asked her to repeat a skill she was teaching us and her response was simply "No". I paid $900 to be taught how to be a C.N.A, we can do better than just saying NO. I've seen worse schools and even worse reviews so I do recommend this place. Hopefully they can fix the few flaws they do have to make this school the best it can be.

This is the best CLU study guide material I've ever used! In the progress of obtaining my CLU…read moredesignation, I've used several study guides and this one is by far the most superior. The instructor uses DVDs for each module along with the study guide book to walk you through all the chapters of a course. He clearly has command of the subject. What I loved about the study guides was that the instructor took the language from the course and used layperson's terms to explain the context and meaning of the material. For those of you that are OCD, you can pass with an A! However, these study guides will NOT cover 100% of the material you might be tested on; if you want that, uh, just read the text book. But if you use this course, you can pass your test with a feeling that you actually understood and absorbed the material! I usually went through the entire DVD set twice, answered the questions in the test banks after each module and completed the sample test. Even when I lamented, because many times I couldn't even answer 50% of the questions correctly, I still passed! Friends of mine who've actually contacted Big Daddy University by phone or email for additional questions or information said that Scott was very quick to respond and extremely helpful if you didn't understand a concept from the study guides.
