We put a Donut on the car and went out to the shop. Somebody came super quick which was awesome and then they charged us $165! $65 to patch a tire and $100 to mount it back in. They didn't tell us that before mounting it on. And wanted it cash. We all had to throw our money together to be able to pay it and he told my husband that I misunderstood which I didn't and then made the snide remark that it is after hours that's why it cost so much. If we would have known that, we would have mounted the tire back on ourselves. He was lying and knew it.

Our RV going from california to texas blew an engine in just after Van horn, texas. I called ever…read moreone in Van Horn abd nobody wanted to tow an RV but multiple people suggested B&B. So I called them up snd talked to a super nice guy his name is Harvey Carrera. He told me not only that he would tow it but he was willing to take it 7 hours away. To start off he was already on a job so he told us it would take about 3 hours to get us but then after 30 min he was able to change plans and got us in 1.5 hour. This was great considering he was far away but he wanted to make sure we were safe and not on the side of the road to long. Next was the 7 Hour Drive we got to know him pretty good. really mellow nice guy overall super pleased very blessed and thankful that we got him for a tow truck driver. we got the RV to our house in Moody and he was able to get it right into our driveway even though it was a tight tight spot very skilled driver and I really liked how safe and cautious he was with hooking up the rig. highly suggested thanks again Harvey

These folks were wonderful. I can't possibly recommend them enough…read more We were seriously up a creek. We had something going very wrong with our SUV while towing a trailer. It felt like a tire issue, but tire pressure was good and everything looked fine with the car and the trailer. However, on the road we were getting horrible shaking. In desperation, we went 20 miles off our path to get to Balmorhea for a 24 hour repair shop. We limp the car there only to find that it's closed. We search frantically and my girlfriend finds Balmorhea Towing and Tires on some website. It took us a few minutes to find because they don't have an office, it's just a lot with a couple trailers, but we found someone to help us. I think his name was Jeff. He and Markus (*sp) we super helpful, figured out which tire was giving us trouble and put on the spare. They were able to diagnose that the problem was a quickly collapsing sidewall. They gave us instructions on speed and where to take it next and how far we could make it on the donut. My girlfriend and I are both transgender and being in the middle of nowhere in Texas, let's just say we weren't expecting any red carpets. But these guys were so kind, patient, and courteous to us both. I felt like I was at one of my home shops. This was in the middle of one of the worst travel days I've had and was such a bright spot and a saving grace. We really appreciate these folks!

I used our insurance roadside assistance and…read morewas assigned one of the only towing/tire companies that would drive the 70 miles to help me. I later discovered the dispatcher on the insurance end told Balmorhea that I needed gas. Thankfully Balmorhea came prepared for all issues and with a little creative use of various jacks, was able to get me back on the road later that night. So grateful that they are willing to drive such a far distance to get stranded motorists to safety.
