My mother tried to send me a birthday card from the United Arab Emirates and made sure to send it so that I received it 3 days before my actual birthday, just to be safe. 2 weeks later I still have not received it and, to make matters worse, there is absolutely NO customer service. First, my mother followed up and enquired why there had been a delay (after a few days and then again about a week later) and they claimed to have come and rung on the doorbell multiple times as well as calling my mobile phone. I in fact had no missed calls and was in the flat at least two of the times they supposedly came. Then, I decided to call and arrange a time for them to deliver the card. The lady on the phone was very rude and put the blame completely on me, even stating I would be charged £5 since they had already tried to send it so many times. I did not want to give up just yet so agreed and chose not to go to work to make sure I was here for the arrival of the card. The day came and, of course, the delivery did not come. I called and found it was the same rude woman on the phone again and, again, she made it seem like it was my fault that the van 'broke down'. I was absolutely fed up and cancelled the whole order; something that was supposed to be a nice gesture from my mother who lives half way across the world became a burden to me and I am appalled by the service. read more
