I'm gutted. I hate to post this on social media but the disrespect that I have received from Tranquility Spa is insane! I went in Thursday for a coppery vibe with a shadow root and this was the outcome. #1 I mentioned hair health is most important. They also had to cut off inches of my hair and send me home with hair masks because my hair was in such a compromised state. I sent them this message over the weekend and despite them reading it and posting their usual on social media, I gave them the benefit of the doubt for a response as it was the long weekend after all. Tuesday morning I called them around 10, the manager was to get back to me shortly, I waited another 4 hours and called back again, she was unprofessional and rude and just brushed me off and wanted me to wait until the next day. I wasn't happy with that. Originally I was just wanting a senior stylist to fix my hair and provide a refund. However, all my faith was lost. I said I just wanted my money back so I can go elsewhere. I indeed got a call back and was told to come pick up my refund. I went in, was not greeted, she said not one word to me, handed the envelope and went on with her day, did not even apologize or want to take two minutes to look at my hair! I've been coming to Tranquility for a couple years for various services and never been disappointed! I've had both basic and gel extension manicures, pedicures, massages, facials, and waxing. Every time the service is pleasant, and every esthetician I've seen has been very capable! The salon is beautiful and very clean. This is also hands down the best place in the city for nail art- their esthetician Cassandra does creative, intricate work. read more

Went for a consultation to fix hair colour mishap. I should have been told what I wanted to acheive would be a longer process. Instead I was told it was doable and left with almost black hair. I specifically said I did not want my hair darker. I should have been advised by the professionals I was speaking with. Instead they told me what I wanted to hear and now I have to pay again for a colour correction that should have been done the first time. Or at least started the correction process the first time. I'm two steps back instead of one step ahead. Very disappointed. I'd advise going to stylists with more experience. read more

I LOVE going to Tranquility! I have had waxings, facials, eyelash tints, manicures, and pedicures done there, and they are always professional and kind! Their work is always top-notch and definitely a go-to place! Reservations are definitely a must for a great experience, but it's worth it! read more
