Nevertheless, I recently visited this newly opened retail establishment with my girlfriend. This visit did not disappoint. Please keep in mind, nine months ago, I had not heard of Sephora. The experience was nothing short of amazing! Let's start with the ambiance. The store is well lit, bight, clean, obviously everything is new. Visually perfect. staff is very energetic, friendly, helpful. Fragrances were noticeable, but surprisingly subtle. Music playing in the background was audible, but not too loud. Attention to detail, for the best shopping experience executed perfectly. Items in this store will be classified as premium products, at a premium price. I can't judge as it's not a product I would use. But I am told by many, "worth it". You get what you pay for. I understand that. Value is beyond the price tag. This place was incredibly busy. Not many window shoppers, the lineup for the cash register was never clear. If you're in the market for cosmetic, you already know this place is at the top of the local retail experiences. I went in Thursday for a coppery vibe with a shadow root and this was the outcome. #1 I mentioned hair health is most important. They also had to cut off inches of my hair and send me home with hair masks because my hair was in such a compromised state. I sent them this message over the weekend and despite them reading it and posting their usual on social media, I gave them the benefit of the doubt for a response as it was the long weekend after all. Tuesday morning I called them around 10, the manager was to get back to me shortly, I waited another 4 hours and called back again, she was unprofessional and rude and just brushed me off and wanted me to wait until the next day. I wasn't happy with that. Originally I was just wanting a senior stylist to fix my hair and provide a refund. However, all my faith was lost. I said I just wanted my money back so I can go elsewhere. I indeed got a call back and was told to come pick up my refund. I went in, was not greeted, she said not one word to me, handed the envelope and went on with her day, did not even apologize or want to take two minutes to look at my hair! Horrible customer service and lack of care. They were my go to for all services, I cannot believe the lack of care and compassion!

The whole application took barely half an hour (generally lash extension appointments are supposed to take 1.5-2 hours for a full set). I liked the look of the lashes, and the atmosphere of the place was nice. However, the lashes started to fall out almost right away (despite me following their after-care suggestions) - and afterwards I was left with natural lashes considerably shorter than I started with. My lashes (what are left) are extremely dry and damaged, and after a little research I discovered that this was a result of improper application. My friend had her lashes done the same day as mine - and hers too are shortened and damaged. Would not recommend.
