First and foremost, the place appeared to be clean and tidy. The ambiance inside the massage room itself was relaxing and inviting. However, if you have any apprehension about good communication, this might not be a good fit for you. I had some level of difficulty communicating with the masseuse that greeted me which was also the one who provided the service. Please note, that as others have stated, the gratuity is expected not just suggested. I was asked what I wanted to tip at the end of my session and when I offered 15 dollars which I found fair (tipping is always based on satisfaction of services not demanded), she said, read the sign! The sign which states gratuity is 20-30 per service!!! The massage itself was too intense for my taste. I had to remind her on multiple occasions that it was too much. Also, I was not aware (my bad perhaps) that "Swedish" entailed her walking on my back!! I wasn't ready for that or the very hot towel that she placed on my back toward the end without warning. But hey, if elbows and back walking are your thing and you like intense bone massage's, this is your spot.

During my initial visit, I was open-minded and explained in detail where I carry the most tension and discomfort. Unfortunately, that first experience did not meet my expectations--I felt rushed and didn't feel that my concerns were fully listened to or addressed. After sharing my feedback with the front desk, they were very understanding and invited me to return. While waiting in the lobby that day, I looked through reviews and noticed that Alexis was highly recommended, so I decided to book with her for my next visit. I came back on March 24 with a fresh perspective, and I am so glad I did. Alexis completely changed my experience. From the moment we spoke, she truly listened to my concerns and took the time to understand where my body needed the most attention. Throughout the entire session, she focused on those problem areas and applied the right amount of pressure, making sure I was comfortable while still working through deep tension. You can genuinely tell that Alexis is passionate about what she does. She is attentive, thorough, and intentional with her work. I left feeling significantly more relaxed, relieved, and cared for compared to my first visit. I highly recommend Alexis to anyone looking for a massage therapist who actually listens and delivers results. I'm so happy to have found her and will absolutely be booking all of my future appointments with her. Thank you, Alexis, for taking such great care of me!
