Talk about customer service without even being in the restaurant. On Mondays they have a special. $3 pizza with the purchase of any drink. Pretty good deal if you ask me. Being from NY, I am a pizza snob...and proud. I ordered the pork and fennel sausage pizza. It was very good! It had sausage, red onion and peppers. I would suggest that they cook it a little bit longer to get that "well done" taste. About 2-3 minutes more! There's an upstairs part of the restaurant also with a great view! The menu is a little different with a tapas style menu. I went upstairs after my meal and it was a great view! I came here for dinner around 430PM. It was very crowded when I left. Definitely the place to be!

Naked for Satan is a large space with a sprawling open air rooftop up on the 4th floor along with a smaller pub-like space on the main level. We joined the 30-something crew up on the deck on a mild March day. In the shade it was a tad cool and you could tell fall was setting in. There is no table service on the patio so you need to go inside to order food/drinks. We enjoyed a couple of pisco sours while watching people trickle in after a busy work week. The interior has a steam-punk, industrial vibe and that's fun and inventive. Service at the bar was friendly and they brought our drinks to us outside. We only had an hour free in our packed itinerary but I'd definitely head back to try the food and just partake in the great people-watching,

Dimly lit with…read moresome cosy little fairy-light nooks, coming here early on a Thursday night for a knock-off drink provided a nice casual spot to catch up for a drink. Service is great, the staff were really lovely and helpful. Many of the staff here also teach Spanish at the local language school where I study, which certainly speaks to their passion for bringing their local flavour to Melbourne. The menu is Latin American inspired small plates, so we ordered a couple of bites from the bar snacks portion to share as a group - beef shin empanadas, guacamole and chips, and polenta chips. All were tasty, the guac and chips were spot on and I particularly like the polenta chips as they were quite thin and crunchy rather than the chunky-burn-your-mouth out trying to eat it type. I'd come back and give dinner a go. I wasn't drinking so can't comment much on the booze available, but I did see that they do have happy hour specials going and mulled wine for winter. Probably somewhere I'd come more for a beer or margarita than a wine. They have a lot of shows and events here, their web site features a lot of fun Latin-American inspired music acts from mariachi bands to flamenco and Brazilian performers if you're looking for something more upbeat. If a boozy rowdy night is your style, I'd plan ahead for when something is happening or go on a Saturday night. If you're after a more chilled out spot to catch up with some friends, early weeknights are a good time to go.

Hot damn I went did on this one !…read more So I couldn't take any good pictures cuz I have an iPhone and the light was real low. I really need to get a better camera for this stuff, but I did almost try one of everything on the menu and some dishes that weren't on the menu. Oooh specials ! First off I have to say our server was hands down the best server I've every had. I'm pretty sure his name was Matt , and that's what it says on the receipt so I'm going with Matt. He is the perfect example of a professional server. Thank you Matt for your amazing service ! So this is tapas, high end tapas, well thought out, premium ingredients, with a touch molecule gastronomy. All the dishes I had were well plated, and well presented, and all were delicious. My favorites of the evening are as follows: "Carrillera de Buey" ( beef cheek and cauliflower purée ) intense ! Super rich and earthy, the "Chocos" ( cuttlefish ) perfection! love the ink "Calabacin" ( charred zucchini ), zucchini can go wrong real fast and this was cook perfectly, al dente yes ! Definitely take a look at the menu to see all the other descriptions and ingredients of the dishes I mentioned above, way too many to type. I really wanted to try the "Bocadillo" ( fried pig's ear sandwich ) but it wasn't on the menu, no worries still had lots of great food in a great environment. For dessert I had the "Cigarillo" it's like a chocolate ice cream cigar dipped in chocolate and then rolled on crushed pistachios! Wow yum ! Thanks !

One of best spanish bars I have been to. Not cheap though. very busy too so book ahead.read more

I was wondering why such a popular spot would be so isolated? But all is well worth the effort to get here. The venue is brimming with natural lighting, classic charm and warmth. For my breakfast, I ordered the Pixelated avocado (on a sourdough toast) because it just looked so darn intriguing. I didn't expect anything else to be honest, and turned out this was GOOD!! Every single element in this dish has complex flavors that compliments each other. The chili dried air kale, diced pixelated avocado and the soft shell crab was especially stunning. The dish certainly performs to its Instagram ability. For my drink, I ordered their matcha latte; it was strong tasting yet smooth. I could drink this all day! The Light Years is certainly not disappointing in any way, from the beautiful venue to the outstanding food, supported with service and ambiance for days. Easily, my favorite brunch spot in town at the moment and much to recommend you :).

Recently opened at the bottom of a new apartment block just along from the Camberwell tram depot, it should not be confused with Lights in the Attic cafe which is a bit further down Camberwell Road. The fit out is the now common scandi/minimalist affair with a smattering of potted greenery. Coffee is from Dukes, but the star of the show here is the food. All the dishes I saw coming out looked great and were good sized portions. I had the bircher and it was a generous serve, looked pretty and tasted even better. Overall a good value and tasty option for brunch/lunch in the leafy inner east.
