I was hoping to hit a parking lot, but it sounded like metal was hitting the ground. I pulled off onto the shoulder that was fairly wide. To make a long story short, I called Toyota Roadside Assistance. My car does not come with a spare tire. It's considered a newer model. I waited nearly two hours for what I thought would be a tow truck based in Markham. This guy was from AA Roadside in Oshawa and ultimately arrived in a Subaru Impreza. I was not impressed. I had to contact Toyota Roadside Assistance to get a real tow truck dispatched. Perhaps the tone of my voice speaking with a lovely, professional woman on the other end caused dispatching Success Towing instead. Three minutes after I hung up my phone call, a man from Success Towing called and asked me a few questions. He had a calming voice that was wonderful. It took maybe fifteen minutes for this tow truck to get to me. Yay! This man was awesome. He told me to grab my important items and led me to his tow truck. The back was spacious and comfy. He then let me know that he'd spend a bit of time hitching my car to his tow truck. I appreciated his communication with me throughout this ordeal. He also took a photo of my shredded tire and let me know what damage I had. The tow to my dealership was smooth. It was my first time riding in a tow truck. He got my car unhitched and moved it into a parking spot. It was quite the skilled feat. He then drove me to the service area. He was thorough and the best under the circumstances. If you are ever in a situation where you vehicle needs towing, Success Towing is excellent. Staff are courteous and competent. The wait time for a tow truck to arrive was decent. Specific maintenance schedules are not followed for different makes of cars, likely because of his old fashion mentality of "if it ain't broke don't fix it". He seems to go by a one-size-fits-all system for fluids, an example is using generic coolant and transmission fluid.

Was left all day with out a car, called in to see when work was to be completed despite being told I was going to get a call, never returned my calls to advise work was completed. Get there and no work was even done, and to top it off a scratch on the car, yet they didn't do it! Warranty issues, etc... etc... etc... Friendly...fast...honest…read more I needed a mechanic as my car was acting up. I did a quick google search for "inexpensive, honest mechanic near me". I found a few and called them up. It was Steeles Auto Garage that answered my call. I spoke to Ricky and he gave a friendly vibe over the phone. Took my car in and within half an hour of us describing the issue, he was able to tell us what was wrong. Had the car fixed within 45 minutes of the initial diagnostic. We were pleasantly surprised by the cost. So when my car had a rattling sound and fish tailed over bumps, I took my car in. Again I dealt with Ricky, got results and again was pleasantly surprised by the cost. I've decided to make them MY mechanic. They're honest, friendly, efficient and fair. I've also recommended this garage to a colleague. I highly recommend their services.

Krystal, told me to get to the the shop early on Saturday's and I did (7:00am for an 8:30am shop opening)..... but I was number 11. ( thank goodness I came prepared- see pic) This shops knows it's exhausts and does beautiful custom work. While I was there for a simple flex pipe replacement ( to quiet my fiat down), most others were at the shop to have their mufflers tweaked/ removed to make their cars louder.... and the shop delivered. On top of that, I met a helpful group of guys in the waiting area who gave me some practical tips on fixing a few little things on my own and where to get the parts. Not an expected part of my visit, but this left me pretty thrilled. Clearly Scott and Corey put a lot of good karma out into the world and bring together a pretty decent community of people.

The owner (Michael Colacci) and the employees kept me in the loop while my car was being serviced and went as far to show me "my shot control arm" when recommending that I need a new one. 2. The service was quite fast and they did a full check on all fluids and lights as expected when anybody gets their car serviced. 3. The sitting area is quite comfortable and the signs adverting prices and work were simple and easy to understand. Something my mom would appreciate. I would recommend Meineke car care centre and this location to anybody in the Oakville, West Toronto area as it's very easy to access from the Q.E.W.
