Pacific Place is the best thing I've found in Olympia. I…read morejust don't understand why I'm the first to write a review for this place. It's a perfect minimalistic home (were this place in Seattle, the price would be CRAY). Every inch of this place is just SO pleasant to look at; that's why living and taking walks in here is awesome. The great things: Safety (gate&everything) Affordability Location Very recently made (thus clean and new looking) Garages the trash section outside (yes you have to pack it in your car trunk and drive to throw a lot out) Microwave Bathrooms Living room Installed heater system Our own laundry room (very spacious...nail racks high up on the walls and turn it into a closet also!) The fake fireplace; looks pretty (on top you can place your tv...looks baller and saves space) Balcony (if you live on the upstairs...every apartment is one floor I'm pretty sure. It's just upstairs to your garage not to other rooms) Neighbors Clean grass and trimmed trees Parking The small fitness room!!! The small downside: -The FRIDGE (maybe it's because we have 4 ravenous people in this 2-bedroom apartment who shouldn't be occupying such a small place anyways, but the fridge in the kitchen is only one of 2 refrigerators that we have since it does not hold a lot.) -The stove (glass top, looks cool and luxurious but doesn't heat fast or strongly enough for people who cook all the time...like my family.) -Getting out onto Pacific ave. takes a while sometimes but you get used to it. -Getting in and out of the gates takes a while for the gate to open but you get used to it (you get a button to enter the apartment, and you don't need it when you're getting out. It automatically opens) Living here is peaceful to the mind, heart, eye, and soul.

I have lived at these apartments for the past 4, going on 5, years and my experience has been all…read morearound fantastic. This is the best place I have lived so far in Olympia. At Bayview the rent is cheap by Olympia standards and the utility cost low, the buildings are extremely clean and well maintained, the landscaping and overall maintenance is top notch. There is an on-site repair person who is very responsive to any difficulties I have had (which have been very few). The apartment manager is also very helpful and responsive, in addition to being a genuinely nice person. The people who live here are for the most part very nice and/or keep to themselves. I have never felt unsafe here, although there has been an occasional car break-in or bike stolen over the years. The buildings themselves are well lit at night. The only downsides would be if you are loud and/or like to have lots of people over frequently. Most of the apartments house single residents, and the owners like to keep things quiet/low key. Also, because the apartments are so clean to begin with, there is a good chance you will not get all of your deposit back- which I have heard people complain about. Honestly, I consider it a fair trade off when all is said and done- I have lived in many a moldy, dingy Olympia rental and this place has zero mold issues and is cleaner than any place I have lived in. I highly recommend this place!

The new bottom apartment is more expensive for the same one bed one bath, THE SMALLEST apartment ever! We pay the same amount for the biggest one bed and one bath. We had a good experience on our first apartment, but moving to our second apartment was horrible. First of all they charged us for "dog stain" which could of easily taken off with carpet cleaner. Yet they said they "replaced" the carpet but yet our new apartment reeks of humid smell, has some parts ripped and the strings are coming out. The floors are scratched with noticeable paint chipped off. Restroom cabinets has a deep scratch, laundry room door was not shutting, the restroom stall is in the middle of restroom which looks weird. The side wall of the kitchen is chipped scr It's insane how we pay way more money for this horrible apartment. I would not recommend it, charging us for the carpet at our old apartment when I bet they didn't change it just like the one we live on right now! ITS A SMELL THAT I CANNOT EXPLAIN. SMELLS LIKE THE OUTSIDE MUSHROOMS!! I'm very disappointed because if I would of known how this apartment looked I would of rather get a different apartment complex. The front desk lady was very disappointed with the workers but has not done anything to keep us happy. Nothing has changed and we have lived here for a month now. It's now been 9 months and I can't express my stress any further. Although, I've been contacting maintenance for a week now and all they manage to do is waste a day for not showing, and another for now calling me back for further work. There's plenty of robbery going on in the past days. Missing packages, cars getting broken into (myself included). I tried having patience with this apartment complex, but if you are trying to move in here please consider all the options and read the reviews because as "luxurious" this place looks, it comes with homeless people. Comes with maintenance people not doing their job even though they enforce "24/7" services. Emails, phone calls? Will never be returned, answered or heard from. There's better places out there with better prices. That's all. Stay safe

In regards to the basics, the gym, pool area, and landscaping is always clean and well cared for. All the apartments are brand new and the appliances in our unit work phenomenally. Coffee machine in the clubhouse is SO GOOD! In the event that you park a short distance away from your unit, the entire grounds are well lit, which makes me feel safe walking to my place at night time. To be completely honest, my experience with the staff and other residents has been wonderful. I'm a genuinely friendly person who is not afraid to communicate clearly and directly. Team goes above and beyond regularly. Overall, really grateful - quality customer service is uncommon. 6+ MONTH UPDATE: As with any community style residence, there will be an array of experiences..but given how ugly the negative side of the spectrum gets when it comes to horrific leases, Britton Place provides an outstanding experience. There is an infinite number of things that can go wrong in an apartment complex. As a resident here, you can trust that you are safe, your unit is clean, and management is directly accessible. It appears many of the units are occupied, as parking is extremely limited. With that being said, despite what appears to be nearly full occupancy, I don't ever feel like another number to management and staff. Their dedication is apparent, and that is greatly appreciated.

It is the most expensive apartment I've lived in as well, but you get what you pay for. If you look at the other apartments in the area that are the same price, the rooms are smaller, and not all of them are gated or as clean. The unit was in excellent condition, and maintenance was awesome. I did have a very weird problem in my apartment that occurred one day, which was kind of a freak accident of nature, (it involved a bird...) and I'll spare you the details, but as soon as I saw it, I left my apartment, called the manager, and upon arriving about 45 minutes later it was like it never happened. They cleaned the entire area spotless, and even replaced some minor things so it was like new. The maintenance guy always seems to be on top of things here. Also, the landscaping was excellent. Every week they have a good team trim the grass and get rid of all the leaves, so you don't end up with wet leaves all over your car or your feet, like many other apartments here in Washington. I had zero issues with noise. Yes, I heard noises every now and then from other people, nothing bad though. I know a couple people have complained about noise here on another review website. After all, it is an APARTMENT... not a house. There will be some noise to an extent, guaranteed. If you expect a completely noiseless experience, get a house, otherwise stop complaining. A large number of tenants, including myself, are military. I considered this a plus. Management was awesome and it was always nice to chat with them. They were always nice to me, even AFTER signing the lease, (unlike some places). The only thing that I was not happy about, was when I went to re-sign my lease after the first expired, and they increased my rent by about $200 a year because of "the market value" that rose that year. I understand this is business, and the prices were rising, but, like anyone else, I didn't like the fact that I had to pay more, to stay. If this apartment is within your budget, the location is awesome. Right next to the highway, and a lot is in the area, (Costco, Home Depot, Walmart, Best Buy, Cold Stone, and my favorite, Dutch Bros). Overall, good experience, and highly recommended.

I'm not even sure where to start with this place. We have issue after issue with these apartments…read morethat, quite honestly, they are really not worth the money. The first issue that is recurring and very much a problem is the "oh don't worry man, we'll take care of it later" mentality. This has led to a lack of communication as well as important things not being taken care of when needed. We specifically waited nearly three months for our microwave to be replaced. As well as the rear gate to the building being down for 7+ months and upon repair, we really didn't get a notified. Inspections are not a week notice as they should be. They slap a paper on your door the day before. The worst one yet was giving us a last-minute notice that if we park in our ASSIGNED PARKING while roofers are replacing the roof of our building, we will be towed. (Dear Residents, Due to roof work being conducted on the F building, all the parking spaces surrounding the building will be prohibited from use until further notice. This includes carport spaces and visitor/guest parking. All cars currently parked in these spots will need to be moved by 8AM NOVEMBER 15, and if any vehicle is parked there, until notified otherwise, the vehicle will be IMMEDIATELY TOWED. We greatly appreciate your patience and understanding. Please contact the management office with any questions or concerns. Sincerely, Abbey Rowe Apartments Management) We got that notification on the afternoon of the 14th. Hours prior. Parking here is already poor, as they only have one assigned parking spot per unit. So if your spouse is also looking for work, they have to fight with the 100 other unassigned residents that make their homes here. On top of that, parking for building G, for example, is in front of building F, so then taking away parking for people living in building F. Even worse, people on the 3rd floor are forced to park the furthest from their unit. Parking is just overall disorganized per unit. This all is a very irresponsible management procedure improper use of their position. The last other issue or set of issues is just that they have no sense of inforcing the rules they have set and stated on their agreements. No dogs over 50 lbs? Well, 90% of the dogs here are over 50 pounds and make #2's bigger than a person. To top that, no one picks up after their animals. They have a company that comes out and picks it up once a week. But that's not enough, considering there are at least 70 dogs here that go twice a day. Also, they have restrictions against housing certain dogs. Which they don't follow either. Their website, last i checked, states no Doberman, Shepard, Rottweilers, or pitt bulls. But half of the dogs here, by fact, are those dogs. Another problem yet is the noise ordinance. There is a local noise ordinance of 10pm when all noise is supposed to be below a certain volume by decibel. And every night for the first four months, we had reported our bass booming neighbors, and the office had done nothing after we've stayed there for two years. We just gave up after a certain point and have been more and more disappointed with how these owners manage things as time went on. I would avoid the apartments across the street at The Madison as well. They are governed by the same people, and I've heard the same complaints from renters across the street. So, especially if you get stationed at Fort JBLM, I recommend you either get on base housing if available or stay in Tacoma. Apartments in Lacey are just not ready to accommodate soldiers and their families.
