After being a Professional Real Estate Agent in Colorado for over 30 years I have NEVER dealt with…read morea title company or title closing/escrow officer who was so unprofessional as the one at Fidelity National Title Company in Boulder! The Fidelity National Title office in the DTC area has been my main title company for over 10 years and have always had wonderful service there but when representing my buyers in the purchase/transaction of their new home, we had NO CHOICE but to use the title company and title rep which was chosen by the seller and seller's agent which was unfortunate!!! As you probably guest at this point, we had MAJOR issues with the service, someone dropped the ball and the HOA/CIC documents were NOT ordered on time, hence we had to extend this deadline creating stress, thinking my buyers would be injured in the event there was an HOA issue, and the Fidelity Agent was informed from the beginning that 2 of my 3 buyers would need to sign remotely in Alamosa Colorado. The day before the Alamosa signing was to occur, the title representative called my buyers and said the arranged notary had cancelled, that my buyers would need to travel 4 hours both ways to Pueblo Colorado to meet with someone who could notarized their signatures, finally the title representative said they were allowed to have a bank or attorney's office notarize but my buyers have no bank account, know of no banks or attorneys whom could do this. My poor buyers went around BEGGING banks to accommodate them and help them accomplish the closing documents signing. When I left a voice message for the title representative saying this situation was unacceptable, she called back and left a voice message laughing, yes, that's right LAUGHING!!!! I will REFUSE to use this Fidelity National Title location again in the future!!!!

Fidelity National Title sent hundreds of thousands of dollars to the wrong account…read more Let that sink in. They had one job. We sold our house and they were paid to facilitate the transaction (basically push paper). They made a mistake while transferring the balance of our mortgage and sent our loan payoff to my checking account, instead of our mortgage account. Worse, then they accused me of being ugly on the phone when I was hurriedly working to fix their mistake. Use another company, not these clowns.

Unprofessional. The Closing started late. Appointment was agreed upon over a week in advance. I had…read more3 different people involved in running the closing. They literally exchange in the middle of my signing. I tried to be open minded about the situation because they were trying to get the closing process going 3 different exchanges was a little over the top. THE WORST PART. I paid them all that money.... a week into my new home My wife and 2 year old daughter were taking a shower and water department shut off. I (physically) went to water dept office. The Never received anything from the title company. The lady behind the desk was the person handling my account and had made the calls to the title company personally. She contact names, dates, and time of messages she left and people she talked to. When my real estate agent contacted them with all the information, specifics, and details there best answer was they never happen. HORRIBLE, even if, lets say the water dept. never contacted the title company....that's not there job. It is the title company's job to make sure that does not happen. Never again STAY AWAY.
