About a year after moving to Denver, we were in the real estate market and met Missy Weingart from…read morePorch Light Realty at a random open house we wandered into. From the beginning, we were struck by her energy and smile and soon after we decided we wanted to work with her. Missy met us at a local Starbucks and spent at least an hour getting to know us and documenting what we were looking for. She probably showed us at least 10 places, and she helped us put offers in on several homes, but we lost several bids due to being priced out (because of the run-away expensive market, not because of Missy). Missy went on vacation and ensured that one of her realty partners was available to show us other houses over July 4th weekend. It was during that time that we found a house we wanted, and Missy stayed in constant communication with us FROM MEXICO the whole time. This included drawing up the offer contract, etc from at least a thousand miles away. It was this level of attention that made us realize we were working with a truly dedicated professional. I am a strong-headed, very passionate person with a strong personality when it comes to handling expensive transactions. Missy stayed calm the whole time as this was somewhat of an emotional process for us. She led us through the tough times and helped us execute the transaction through the closing process as effortlessly as possible. She also hooked us up with a great loan officer at Cherry Creek Mortgage who was very competitive. Overall, it was the smoothest process I could imagine given the circumstances. It's been quite a while since we moved in, and we still hear from Missy. She had cookies and coffee mugs dropped off as a gift for the holidays, and she stays in touch from time to time. It's this kind of TLC and devotion that one should look for in a realtor...and if you're in search of one, give her a try!

She helped me search high and low, all around Colorado for the perfect property and didn't ever make me feel like a terrible person for not making an offer and even had the most incredible patience during our nearly 3 month closing process! She is absolutely the most kind, loyal and steadfast real estate agent out there. I feel so lucky that I was introduced to her years ago. In the beginning she would just check in every once in the while. I was loosely looking for my "dream property," but it was still evolving in my dreams haha, so of course it took a while to find. Last week, we closed on my dream property in Bailey, Colorado. The one county we could find that would allow us to build the type of structure and also be close enough to Denver, etc. Anyway, I could go on and on about how incredible Lauren is to work with. Happy to speak to anyone about her. She will keep tabs on the timelines, ask all the questions and find all the answers, vouch for you when the other agent is a dick, and just continue to show up. You wouldn't even know she is a human outside of working with her-- and she is such a beautiful human! I'm so happy to see that the experience I've shared with her is across the board. I don't know how she does it!! Seriously the BEST agent you'll ever work with. I am so grateful to have had her by my side through this whole ride. Thank you so much Lauren! To this day, we go to bed thanking that person! Jokes aside, we could not be happier with Kim's work. She is absolutely wonderful, very knowledgeable, always there when we had a question, always willing to go the extra mile in order to get things done. We had several issues with the property we purchased and the sellers' agent was literally missing in action, so Kim and her husband did all the leg work to get these issues fixed, issues that were the seller's responsibility. In addition, we have been in New York throughout the entire process and Kim was there on our behalf, making sure that our interests were protected and our requests were met. I wish I could give her 10 stars and I know that we will never get to say "thank you" enough times.
