Transun couldn't have cared less, for every little thing (no organisation, mistakes, changes, delays, missed meals, untrained reps - through all this no communication) they just passed off any responsibility. Blatant lies too - tours on the website weren't offered and we weren't told till we'd paid for the trip and it was too late. I did the igloo interlude which says "with all the comforts of a warm cabin" and "your very own ice and snow house deep in the wilderness" - laughable! It was an igloo in a built up carpark, with a horrid, smelly, dirty warm room! SPEND YOUR MONEY ELSEWHERE. I wish I'd listened to all the other bad reviews.

Transun's Grand Villa la Perla apartments in Thailand are amazing: beachfront views for all…read moreapartments, balconies, views of Koh Phangan across the water, friendly staff who clean the apartments every day (and pick you up from the airport!), lovely village setting full of friendly locals and a decent nightlife and - importantly - delicious, delicious food at restaurants. Highlight was dinner on the beach, and sunsets viewed from the balcony. Such a restful holiday: so, so good! Would definitely recommend!

I popped in here to get an International Student Card, which gets me loads of discounts while…read moretravelling. It's one of the few places you can get one in Oxford, and they'll do it on the spot. The office is welcoming and open, with lots of brochures about travelling, and the staff are young and laid back (although I felt a bit intrusive as they continued their conversations about where to go for lunch). They didn't actually do a great job with my card - the print is wonky and hasn't come out fully, but it's been accepted everywhere, so I suppose it's not too serious. As for STA Travel themselves, I've booked a holiday through them and they've been very organised and helpful so far. They're aimed at students and young people, so they understand about being on a budget and what people want from a holiday. I've heard good things about them from friends who've had gap year experiences and round the world trips with the company, and although it might be a bit pricier than some other organisations, I think it's well worth it for the quality they offer.

If you're limited to only shopping in the centre, then this place is your best bet. They may not have my preferred brand, but they usually have at least a version of the sauce I'm looking for. Your other choices are GG Oriental Snack Shack in Gloucester Green or to venture out onto Cowley Road. My only warning is, if it's not priced, ASK before you buy. I didn't realize until I got home that the one small jar I didn't see labeled with a price and that the till lady couldn't scan, she manually entered 9£ for it!
