Parking is $6 and plenty of areas in the front, side and the back. You can spend hours stopping at indoor shops, covered shops, open shops and stores. Plus indoor Subway and tons of food vendors throughout the flea market.

Traders Village in Houston, Texas, is a vast outdoor flea market offering numerous vendors with diverse goods. This particular day I had my friends' kids for the weekend as they were celebrating their wedding anniversary. We went on a Saturday and to my surprise it wasn't extremely busy. We came for the carnival rides and they really enjoyed themselves. We also enjoyed the food choices and the shops as well. We picked up a few items and had a really good time. Wear a hat or take an umbrella to block out the sun while walking. Parking is $6 and all day ride pass is $15.

It's a large flea market off Eldridge Parkway in NW Houston with $6 parking and free admission for the car load or walk-ins. Great for a change of scenery for walking. On this trip, I found a Mexican pottery booth(s) at 540.

i love this place ! i'm consistently seeing new vendors and finding cool things to add to my collection :) it's a large open space with plenty of parking (charged at entry-$6 which is a little steep compared to other flea markets), with plenty of vendors. it feels like a large garage sale. a lot of vendors are very nice and have varying items such as collectible toys, food, houseware, decor, clothing, tools.

Location: off 290 Parking: plenty, more then enough Staff: plenty of different shops, everyone is nice Wait time: none, depending on day can be a bit while trying to enter Seating: outdoors Price: different deals Drink: lots off fresh waters, drinks, alcoholic beverages Food: plenty of Latin cuisine Traders village is a flea market where you will find lots of great deal as well as food. You can find new, used, tools, toys. Overall a bit of everything. They have music playing in the back ground and also have lots of fun festivals with live music.

This is such a huge place with everything imaginable there. $6 parking and we got to see the Native American Heritage show while there. I would love coming back to check everything out. We had a sage ritual done for free so we purchased items from them and will return. I recommend making plans to spend the day visiting every business here. It was such a beautiful day too.

Came here for the first time with my kids. I don't know about you, but I love flea markets, swap meet, garage sale types of places and this is literally all of that, but times 50 plus a mini carnival, live entertainment, and food court all together. This has to be the largest swap meet/flea market that I've ever been to. They sold weapons, animals, reptiles, food, clothes, toys, etc. I would say there is probably someone here that is selling something that you're looking for. They were selling golden retrievers for $500. Where I come from, they're at least a thousand dollars. You can spend all day here if you're just browsing. There are also vendors in the parking lot that you pull into and get your vehicle tinted and vehicle alarm or lights installed lol. If you're planning on buying a lot of things, I would bring your personally wagon or something. The parking is huge and it costs $5 to enter and park. The staff are friendly although you don't really see anyone else other than the parking attendants. The huge and juicy turkey legs were $10 and they tasted delicious!

All of the vendors were nice and most were eager to give samples. Stop by Dee's Nuts (yes you read that correctly) and by some Sriracha Ranch and Dill Pickle flavors to mix (yes you read that correctly). Delish! Also grabbed some Ruin beverages. Really good stuff too. There was also a jelly jam booth that had some great sounding combinations (like whisky). Market is closing in November but will be back for a Dec 4 holiday one.

Instead, you have to sign up in person (given very little notice), pay with cash before receiving a hand-written receipt, and have your info sheet added to a giant, messy appearing binder. This organizational method has routinely caused many issues, including double booking same-type vendors and losing track of cancellations/communication with vendors. We have attended 14 of the last 15 Katy Market Days as a well-loved vendor of fresh-squeezed lemonade, kettle corn, and shaved ice. Our first 6 or so events with Katy Market Days ran smooth with very little interaction with Betsy and Harry Proctor, the owners of The Limited Edition Art and Antiques and coordinators of Katy Market Day. As the months progressed, more issues appeared, including multiple lemonade, kettle corn, and shaved iced vendors attending the market, despite reassurance this wouldn't happen. We were always met with excuses such as, "a new girl let the other vendors book". The market this past Saturday started with a duplicate shaved ice truck parked directly across from our booth. Harry, Betsy's husband, handled the situation with respect and professionalism. He apologized for the double booking and offered a refund for this month's market. His attitude and demeanor was much appreciated in the midst of a frustrating situation for both vendors. Shortly after, a large, white food truck pulled directly in front of our booth and parked, hiding us from view of customers. My husband asked Betsy if the truck was going to stay, as it was an unusual spot and there was plenty of other options. My husband walked back to our booth and Betsy chased him down and began YELLING that the "truck is not moving" and we are "more trouble than we're worth". This outburst made the vendors surrounding us and the customers in my line visibly uncomfortable. Unfortunately, this display was not out of character for Betsy as we've witnessed numerous verbal disputes and disproportionate negative reactions toward other vendors over the course of our time. We've seen Betsy run after and scream at another vendor leaving the event early. Betsy routinely speaks abruptly and disrespectful toward vendors while signing up. In our early days of attending KMD, she even refused to let me and my young son use the restroom in her store while I was heavily pregnant and in dire need. Sometimes making an exception to a rule is necessary and compassionate. You'll hear numerous similar stories from most every vendor. Katy Market Day has the potential to be an excellent monthly event for the community but sadly falls short due to ineffective, unprofessional, and callous management.
