2weeks before our daughter's 1st bday, we decided to do professional smash pics. I'm new to Tracy, found this studio, explained my situation and how I needed the pics asap. They got her in that week! They were super accommodating and helped me get exactly what I wanted. My kid is a tough one to make smile, but the photographer did an excellent job at getting her to smile and laugh! She captured perfect images! They even gave her bath pictures after her messy meat smash! The turnaround time was quick! I have used this photo studio a few times, but there's new management in place that makes this place better than ever. As soon as you walk in you'll notice just how warm and welcoming the lobby is. The staff on hand is always helpful and extremely polite. Best of all the lobby has everything that any family may need. The welcoming couches, magazines and distractions are just enough for any age range. We walked away with 3 very special photos after our last trip, one of which is hanging in my living room! This studio is so unique and offers so much that I couldn't imagine heading anywhere else for our family photos. The photographers and staff here are even good with toddlers and infants, a sure sign that the studio is family-friendly. I've had two sessions at Tracy Portrait Studio and am very pleased with the quality of the photos. Under new management and at a new location, the studio is nicely setup. Everything is welcoming and there are couches for extra family members, bored tweens, etc. There are many different photo sets and props available with what they have on hand, but if you have special items that you want in your photo, those are welcome also. We brought in a mini trampoline and some mats on one occasion for our gymnast, and our pet bunnies and some roses another day. I can't say enough positive things about Sarah, they photographer. She is patient with kids and pets, and most importantly, takes great photos. To top it off, the pricing is very reasonable and they have packages available for the photos that you select. Just finished my session with Sarah and it was exceptional! She is so personable, professional, and a great photographer. She pays close attention to detail before taking your photo so she fixes any flyaways and she positions you nicely. I also really appreciated that she took many photos which gave me a lot to choose from. Lastly, I took forever to pick my top pics and it went slightly into another session but I didn't feel rushed or anything to choose so that was nice. We really loved the photos we had taken here. I was very impressed by the number of photos, the number of poses, and the quality of the work. I loved looking through the photo books- I wish my daughters were still young so I could bring them here for the delightful photos they do of young children wearing wings- they were so cute! They also seem to do wonderful animal pictures. I have paid a lot more for family photos and not had them turn out this well. Also, what a treat to get them right away! I've never had that happen! I've always had to wait, sometimes a long time, and then, finally, I get to see the proofs. Here it just took a few minutes. read more

I just had a very inconvenient and annoying ass experience, and to let my steam off I don't know what else to do besides leave a review and let others read about it. Booked my family photos and my son's milestone pictures for the only date they had available that I could make work. I booked this over two weeks ago. I moved my work schedule around, paid multiple deposits for makeup and hair appointments for my kids. Bought everything that we needed, just to get a call today asking me if I can change my appointment. I explained to him basically everything I just wrote here, and he pretty much said it's nothing he can do. They didn't change their dates on their calendar, so it allowed me to book a date that wasn't available. My thing is this was booked weeks ago. Why didn't someone call me sooner? Annoying as fuck. Last minute as fuck. I've spent money I can't get back, and now I have to search for a new place and hoping they have the date available. Im not even about to touch on my first experience here, but it's now safe to say that I had no business giving it a second chance anyway. Very inconvenient!! read more

I went here to get grad pictures and the ideas and settings weren't great at all. Paid way to much for old and out dated backdrops. Good thing the lady knew how to photoshop!! I'm unable to reply to your comment so my response is below... I wasn't aware I had to come up with my own ideas and I also wasn't aware that I had an outdoor option though it was raining hard that day so that wasn't an option at all. I was told I would get the digital print within three days I got them in exactly 3 days all cleaned up and ready. I would like to first say that I am a mother of two small boys, both 3 and 1. Getting my boys to sit still is hard enough, getting them to sit still and smile is a whole other obstacle on it's own. Typically people become very impatient and irritated when young kids run around or do not exactly follow directions given, but Sarah kept her composure. Sarah (our amazing photographer) made it absolutely fun for both of them. She was so lax and go with the flow she even listened to my 3 year old son's posing preference and captured amazing pictures of my whole family. Our family photos came out absolutely fantastic ! Sarah is absolutely amazing. Tracy Portrait Studio is VERY family oriented and a welcoming environment. Sarah is patient, fun, and you can tell that she enjoys what she does very much (it shows in her work). I will continue bringing my family here for all of our photo needs. read more

I'm just updating my review : I had posted one last week but then felt attacked by the owner when she privately emailed me and stated I should just keep my negative reviews to my self but I felt like I should share , I would never recommend Tracy portraits to do any wedding photos if you post a bad review or just express that you were bummed that alot of photos were blurring the owners gets defensive and over steps the boundaries by telling a customer they should keep there comments to them self I just express how my photos came out and how I thought the photographer should have had help and she made it seem as if I was trying to get the lady fired that wasn't the case at all I loved the photographer she went out of her way a lot , but for the owner I would never do business with this place again I really recommend people think twice before having them do an event for you . And I'm not going to let the owner make me feel bad for posting this again it's here to stay it's how my experience was and I'm sorry if she doesn't like it but she should really consider how she approaches customers when they are bummed on how some photos turned . Also I never asked for a refund or anything I understand the products I received is what I get also I don't want the owner reaching out to me anymore about my review she went out her way to email me and make me feel bad for writing a review on her company . Clearly she doesn't have great customer skills Tract portraits did my wedding photos at first I was really bummed out because they offered us two different packages and one had a photo booth and we picked that one but then all of sudden it was being used that day so we couldn't have so I started to look else wear and couldn't find anyone that wasn't to pricy so we went back to them and can up with a plan , they made up not giving us the photos booth instead Brenda gave us an engagement photo session and it was sweet of her she did an amazing job and went out of her way doing that and at our wedding even after words she was amazing . I was bummed out though because it doesn't seem like I received the amount of the photos I paid for I feel like they should have given Brenda a partner at the wedding , also I really wanted certain photos and I didn't receive them but Brenda did catch some special moments just feel like she needed some help . Tracy Portrait Studio I'm wish washie on using them again . But for Brenda she is a sweet kind lady who goes out of her way to make your day special . Took my little brother there for his senior portraits and it went amazing and smooth. Very clean and safe when we arrived to the studio. Our photographer Julia was very nice and she made us feel at home, I would highly recommend her to pick as your photographer. Went in today for my daughters first halloween pictures and I was very impressed with the new owners/management. I used to frequent the studio when it was on 11th st and I was satisfied with the service and the photos, but now I am just blown away. The girl was very sweet and worked great with my daughter. Prices are still the reasonable prices they were before but with more and shall I say, better options. I will definitely take my daughter back for more. read more

School portraits have never compared to the portraits that I have taken at Tracy 1 Hour Portrait. I have been having their annual portraits taken at this studio for several years. I took my kids again, a couple of weeks ago, and was very pleased with the new location and the service. Our photographer was very friendly and made my kids feel comfortable. She shot several poses and I was very happy with the results. The prior owner was someone that we enjoyed seeing, when we would come to have our portraits taken, but the new owners are just as nice! We had one package split between the two of my kids, which made the cost reasonable, and they look great! I have always recommended this studio to family and friends, and I will continue to do so! read more

Do not bring you baby here for pictures. I brought my kids and my nieces and AFTER I paid for a $90 package and explained to them who would be in the pictures, the man said that the do not take pictures of babies who can not sit up on their own. The 5 month old baby that is able to sit up, he asked that we sit her up on a high stool, very unsafe. The pictures that we did end up taking were very unprofessional and not cute. i am impressed with the new store and they have a lot of new items i love the 1 hour service for pictures and the wonderful background you can get. The only down fall i have is they need to warm up the place before they open.I took my holiday picture here and they came out wonderful. it was a good experience, very nice staff. I went in to get pictures of my siblings and I on about 12/19 as a Christmas gift for my mom and was told their machine was down so they could not print my pictures in one hour. no problem. they said they would call me once my pictures were printed. 4 or so weeks later, I still had not received a call. so I took it upon myself to call them and see what was going on. my pictures had been printed the very next day about 12/20 and they forgot to call me. awesome. I got to give my mom an empty picture frame on Christmas day and that could have completely been avoided. don't plan on returning once I've finally received my pictures. read more
