We purchased an expensive lift chair that had problems with the controls before we purchased it…read more They said that they repaired it in the store. All they did was to wrap some black tape around the plug that connects the controller. Within a week it was acting up again, running by itself and not moving when I press the controller. Brand new chair. Repaired???? Tape a faulty control cable? I am going to check the rest of the chair to see if there is any bailing wire holding it together.
