This sandwich was absolutely amazing!!!! And so was the Au Jus :) The atmosphere is cool, has TVs to watch sports, has pool tables and also has a stage for live music.

This is a tough review to write on a couple of levels. Better in that Fred's treated us well, but…read morethey missed the mark on a couple of fronts. Be more like a 3.5 from our point of view as the good was the excellent green salad and the light smoke on our half chicken. The bad was the dry chicken, most definitely overcooked by more than a little bit. The pierogi's were stuffed with potato, and dry to the point that they were almost like little tanks. You had to use a knife to cut them in half, and the accompanying onions might have been better left in the kitchen. The decor is pool hall dark, which is ok, because that is what it is. The place was pretty full of locals on a Sunday early evening. Our server was quite attentive, but the food came out quite slowly, the mains for sure took longer than they should have. Pricing seemed quite reasonable to us, but where we live eating out has become quite a luxury. Would we go back, maybe, but there are still plenty of places to explore in Grand Prairie prior to doing so.

All our meals were amazing, prepared perfectly, and served promptly. Considering the place was packed, we were very impressed. Thank-you for the great experience! I will be back!

Waiter personable. Maybe a tad busy as we had over half meal gone waiting for water refill but then got a lovely bottle of chilled water ( do that at the start and you're golden) The chicken quesadilla was good and Cesar salad crisp and not soaked in dressing - delicious! Bacon cheeseburger delicious with very generous side of roasted potatoes Steak was quite well done ( not asked how we wanted it). Apparently they assume medium but it was well done. Still tasted good!! Tipping-I can't stand that tipping is on post tax amount as it should be on pretax. When I see that I just hit 15% instead of 20%. Overall-would say good place to eat and would go again!

We arrived just after 6:30 and were told it was a 45 min wait but if we wanted to sit at the bar they could seat us right away. We decided to sit at the bar. Once seated the bartender told us food was taking around 45 mins. We ordered our meals right away, it was around 6:40 when we ordered. At 7:20 my husband let our friends know we hadn't received our food and would be a while longer. At 7:43 I asked the manager how much longer our food would be, as we orderedover an hour ago.Once she came back from checking I was told our order wasn't put in until 7:22, which was complete crap! We were then told it would be atleast another 30 mins. There was no apology or offer to fix the situation. I was told I was wrong and we didn't order till 7:22. We got our drink bill and left.
