I made an appointment & already was help right away. I wasnt picky on choosing a baber so Betty was available at the time. Let me tell you she did an amazing job cutting my son hair with a line up. My son 7 yrs old is very picky on who cuts his hair , he did have bad experiences before. He told me that he loves how she cuts hair and digs the hair style. My son found a new barber. I recommend Betty. Nice , patient, talkative, great work. I will come here again & will share with family & friends

He asked for a taper and although I'm not an expert on men's haircuts, my understanding is that a taper is a gradual decrease in thickness of hair. This just looks like it went from thick to thin with no transition... and kind of uneven. Aside from not being happy with the cut, I was also unhappy the barber nicked his neck and left him with a couple scratches (photos available). The cut was $40 which is pretty basic around the area (usually pay about $35) but this cut and experience was not worth the price they charge.

After coming here for a few years, I'm finally done with Fresh Kutz…read more First thing is the quality of my haircuts had gone down. I don't ask for anything crazy, just a basic whiteboy cut. But the last several times it almost felt rushed and my haircuts did not come out as I explained and showed pictures of. The second thing is twice now I have booked an appointment and when I show up, they are closed. No call, no text, just...no one is there and the doors are locked. Even waited around until 15 minutes past my appointment time and no one showed up. After the 15 minutes, I Yelped for nearby barbershops. Found one minutes away, highly rated, and when I called to ask if they could take a walk in they said yes. And when I got there, seated immediately. Only reason Fresh Kutz gets the extra star is they did take good care of my son which I greatly appreciated. But, so does the new spot and my son likes it there.
