Also situated in the side of town closest to Cascada Las Brisas. The hosts are very sweet and accommodating, were happy to talk over the different options of things to do in the area, and provided coffee and pastries every morning plus purified water when we needed it. We hugged upon leaving if that tells you anything about their warmth and hospitality. This is a hidden gem, simpler than some of the other options. Which means better, in my opinion. Would definitely stay here again.

It was a long shot since this area is fairly hard to reach. This was the only hotel with a recommendation so I decided to call after several rings someone answered and said rooms where available. This location was about 15 minutes away from the downtown area. The rooms where small cabins located throughout the property. The views is spectacular and the ambiance is tranquil. The staff was amazing and made my stay enjoyable. At about 10 AM someone from their staff will take you on a 2 hour walk around the property. During this walk you will enjoy the surrounding vegetations and two waterfalls! They offer a small continental breakfast which consists of a cup of fruits, bread, juice and coffee. Their restaurant has a simply amazing view of the valley and hillside. They offer laundry service at a very affordable rate! I highly recommend this hotel for anyone who wants to experience tranquillity and nature! During my stay here I did not connect to the internet so I don't think the property has internet, but I did get cellular and spotty data service on my cell phone.

Flat screen TV with cable (all the channels are in Spanish), ironing board and iron, desk with rolling chair, nice sitting chair with ottoman, two side tables with lamps and even an alarm clock. There is free wifi with excellent speed (I watched Netflix). The location is about 10 minutes from downtown but well worth the drive since it is right on the river. The hotels downtown all have the main roadway in front of the hotel so the views are not as good. The cost was only 1500 pesos which at the current exchange rate only cost me $90 dollars. This is the ONLY place to stay. Worth every penny. All the people that work there are very helpful and there is free parking with 24 hour camera surveillance for your car.

The staff was friendly and the room was clean. There is a large parking lot, restaurant and you can also request for spa services: massage or facials. It's located close to the city center so you can easily find restaurants just a few minutes away. Getting around on foot is highly recommended. If your going during the low season avoid using online hotel services such as Priceline.com. They charge about $15.00 more with taxes per room. If you go to the hotel and just pay at the hotel you will save more. I would not recommend doing this during the high season or national holiday.
