Toyota Field in Madison, Alabama is home to the Rocket City Trash Pandas, the double-A minor league baseball affiliate of the Los Angeles Angels. Minor League baseball has quite a few unique team names, and personally, the Rocket City Trash Pandas sound very unique and cool, so didn't mind venturing out to the Huntsville area to take in a game. Rocket City is in reference to it's proximity to the US Space and Rocket Center a few minutes away. The stadium itself is very modern with a field level and upper deck, and multiple suites and picnic area. The team store is well stocked with Trash Pandas merchandise, albeit expensively priced. Similarly, concessions are pricey and of fairly low quality. The match up against the Chattanooga Lookouts was quite entertaining, with the teams going back and forth with scoring, Everybody at the stadium was super nice, welcoming us upon entry, and asking us to come back when leaving, saying they hoped we enjoyed the game...kind sentiments are always appreciated. I would recommend baseball fans traveling to the area during the baseball season take in a Trash Pandas game.

Just out here on the work PR mode.

The food was amazing and their staff is too notch. I love how they work with their special needs employees and ensure everyone is happy with the service.

Went to the annual Christmas Lights for 2923. I didn't make it last year so I was surprised to see that it grew a bit and the entrance was relocated. It was $35 per car, and you can pack people in the car. Their radio station in synced to the lights. It's a fun holiday activity each year.

Visited on Thursday night to watch the Trash Pandas play against the Lookouts. It was an exciting game!! My home baseball park is Fenway Park, so I was thankful for the small park and comfy seats. :) A canned beer was a great price at $6 (definitely would've been $12 in Boston hahaha) and the pizza slice was $9. Definitely steep for pizza but the serving size was large and the pizza was yummy! They had 32oz cups of beer for $11 too if that's your thing. Overall I had a great time - the park was well kept, the stands were clean, and the staff was friendly. Hopefully I can come back someday!

I went to Toyota Field this week Saturday to see trash pandas lose! They have done many improvements to field, park is very new yet they improved it. The experience is just fantastic! So many young people enjoying the game, , the weather April 27, 2024, and beer and food. (We found Sprockets Grill near left field foul line. Jesse was cooking up sausages like I never tasted before. Bell peppers hit melted cheese, fried egg on top! I promise u , u have never experienced a meal with a beer like this. Sprocket GRILL! See pictures!

We went through the Christmas Lights Show on Saturday with our girls, 26 and 29 years old and we absolutely loved it. The work that went into putting the show together, I'm sure it was not an easy task. Thank you for allowing us to create beautiful memories with our girls

Spacious baseball stadium with clean facilities. Full service and multiple food options. Adult beverages also well optioned . We did a Thursday night game and had a blast.. cushioned seats in row A and B !

The Trash Pandas baseball game at the Toyota Field was a lot of fun! It's a beautiful new venue with lots of room. Surprisingly there are entrances on each side of the stadium. Please be aware that any bags you bring in must be clear or smaller than 4.5" x 6.5". There's a good variety of food to choose from but not as many drink options. The gift shop is located near the main entrance but they are often sold out especially the smaller sizes. FYI you can park for free on the street across from the stadium or download the Clutch app to prepay for discounted parking in the stadium lot.

We left the hotel 30 minutes…read moreprior to the start of the concert hoping we didn't get caught up in a crowd but we were able to move through security pretty quickly. My SO noticed that that seats in other areas of the venue may have been more comfortable than the ones we chose on the floor but overall not bad in terms of our view. We had two beverages and snacks. We were shocked but not shocked at the prices as it is to be expected. We had no problems locating our seats or the restrooms as we were given good directions by the staff. The arena was in walking distance from the hotel we chose, definitely a plus!!!

It was pouring rain outside and it looked like we could enter through a side door which was covered. The security guard opened the door, looked at me suspiciously, and asked me if I was there to watch. I showed him my daughter - clearly in her gymnastics attire - and that she needed to meet up with her team and he sternly redirected us to walk back out into the pouring rain to the front entrance where we were met with equally rude security guards. I had to dump water out of my water bottle and couldn't bring snacks in to a FOUR hour gymnastics meet. The other guard refused to help direct us to a place to park saying they aren't responsible for parking. What? The women were so much nicer to interact with - they didn't assume you were a terrorist and were kind. If I were an event organizer, I would not want my paying patrons to have such an awful experience. The good part? There was a nice parking lot right across the street that charged $5. No thanks to the rude security guard. Suggestion? Hire more women.
