How can you not have fun at a Trash Panda's game? Toyota field is small enough for most every seat to be a decent seat. Lots of fan participation opportunities, sightings of Sprocket as he made his rounds and even a hot dog dancing on the dugout. Down-home fun can come at a price, and a pretty steep one at that. Our box seats behind third base were $60 each. Hot dogs, a couple of beers (yes, only 2) and a smattering of ballpark treats set us back another $100. There was parking and a small donation for a raffle too. Our family of 4 spent over $350 to attend a AA baseball game. Did we have fun? You bet! Will we be back? Undoubtedly. Will it be this year? Probably, but in the cheap seats, bellies already filled at home and a bottle of cold water plucked from the cooler in our trunk. Besides, I still have two goals to accomplish this season - get caught on the kiss-cam with my sweetie and catch one of those t-shirts from the slingshot! read more

7/27/2024 update. Another fun evening at Toyota Field. The seats were kinda crappy and the Trash Pandas were down 6-3 when we left. Still the staff are so courteous, friendly, and helpful and the restrooms spotless. I got a glass of wine at the Edgar's tent. I would suggest they price their grab and go items for easier checkout. Toyota Field in Madison, Alabama is home to the Rocket City Trash Pandas, the double-A minor league baseball affiliate of the Los Angeles Angels. Minor League baseball has quite a few unique team names, and personally, the Rocket City Trash Pandas sound very unique and cool, so didn't mind venturing out to the Huntsville area to take in a game. Rocket City is in reference to it's proximity to the US Space and Rocket Center a few minutes away. The stadium itself is very modern with a field level and upper deck, and multiple suites and picnic area. The team store is well stocked with Trash Pandas merchandise, albeit expensively priced. Similarly, concessions are pricey and of fairly low quality. The match up against the Chattanooga Lookouts was quite entertaining, with the teams going back and forth with scoring, Everybody at the stadium was super nice, welcoming us upon entry, and asking us to come back when leaving, saying they hoped we enjoyed the game...kind sentiments are always appreciated. I would recommend baseball fans traveling to the area during the baseball season take in a Trash Pandas game. read more

We came as a school with over 200 kids. We were given tickets to sit on the berm. Unfortunately due to rain it was very muddy, we were fine with that :) our kids brought blankets and towels. As soon as the game started we were told by several employees that worked with the organization including ushers that we could sit in the section next to us on the berm. We sat down only taking up about 45 seats, with plenty of room still left. We ate our lunch, cleaned up our area and an usher named Candy came over and very rudely told us we were not allowed to be there. She would not communicate with us, she spoke very condescending, and refused to work with us even though no other individuals needing seats. She informed us she was head of the ushers and with her attitude, that is a shame. She did not know any employees we mentioned speaking with, and was not entertaining the idea that we were in seats and everyone was taken care of. Unfortunately working with the public DAILY, a positive attitude is needed. Hopefully this review will reach the right person and a discussion can be had about proper work ethic. read more

Visited on Thursday night to watch the Trash Pandas play against the Lookouts. It was an exciting game!! My home baseball park is Fenway Park, so I was thankful for the small park and comfy seats. :) A canned beer was a great price at $6 (definitely would've been $12 in Boston hahaha) and the pizza slice was $9. Definitely steep for pizza but the serving size was large and the pizza was yummy! They had 32oz cups of beer for $11 too if that's your thing. Overall I had a great time - the park was well kept, the stands were clean, and the staff was friendly. Hopefully I can come back someday! read more

I went to Toyota Field this week Saturday to see trash pandas lose! They have done many improvements to field, park is very new yet they improved it. The experience is just fantastic! So many young people enjoying the game, , the weather April 27, 2024, and beer and food. (We found Sprockets Grill near left field foul line. Jesse was cooking up sausages like I never tasted before. The Trash Pandas baseball game at the Toyota Field was a lot of fun! It's a beautiful new venue with lots of room. Surprisingly there are entrances on each side of the stadium. Please be aware that any bags you bring in must be clear or smaller than 4.5" x 6.5". There's a good variety of food to choose from but not as many drink options. The gift shop is located near the main entrance but they are often sold out especially the smaller sizes. FYI you can park for free on the street across from the stadium or download the Clutch app to prepay for discounted parking in the stadium lot. read more

Game great! Staff excellent. Cheeseburger, the worst I've had in my life. Stick with the snacks and grab n go. 3 cheeseburgers, 2 bottles of water and one bag of peanuts for $45. Never buying food like that here again. Will always come first my Pandas but not buying the food again. Sooooo gross. read more

Games are great and so much fun, however, most of the food is just awful. Burgers are too dry, hot dog has zero flavor and doesn't seem cooked through, pretzel was overcooked and cold at the same time, and the pizza was flavorless and had zero sauce. read more
