It's a private car park and costs £2.50 per day with no concessions for people with a disabled badge. A very pleasant man takes the money at the entrance. There are lots of parking spaces and one can usually be found even in summer when the town is overrun by tourists. There's also a very handy postbox at the entrance for those last minute cards to be posted!

There are loads and loads of shops in the Quadrant like HMV, Game , W H smiths , Clinton cards and Debenhams. It can get pretty packed out with shoppers at peak times and especially with the run up to christmas. At christmas there is usually a lovely christmas tree with lots of decorations which make it look really nice. The shopping centre always looks clean and tidy and you will always find a cleaner pottering around.

The Quadrant is like many indoor shopping centres across the UK. It mostly houses chain stores like…read moreHMV, Clarks, WHSmiths, Faith and so on and so forth. Shops you find in every town in Britain. The Quadrant itself is quite pleasant though, it has a predominently glass roof which allows it to be very bright and airy inside. There's a gallery cafe which looks out on to the main concourse of the shopping centre which is great for people watching. The bus station also comes out of one end, so finding it is very easy, and also you won't have far to carry bags to get a bus. Or even to get to your car if you choose to park in the NCP which also adjoins the Quadrant. You can also get to Swansea Market via an entrance in the Quadrant. The largest store by far is Debehams, which is a large department store and takes up almost an entire wing of its own. ANECDOTE: I was sick on the doors of Debehams one Christmas as I was shopping for presents and very rapidly came down with a virus. There are public toilets (free) upstairs which are clean and well maintained. The buidling is decorated according to the seasons, and a large Christmas tree is the focus during the winter.

Easy to miss though as the others are next to the main road whereas this is nearby but hidden behind some trees. Turn at the traffic lights beside the main car park near the tourist information centre and library and follow the road around into the car park. From here you need to cross the main road at the traffic lights, climb up a steep pathway beside a restaurant, then through a shopping mall on the left (The Willings Passage Mews) to reach the town centre.

A very large and useful car park for the north beach in Tenby (hence the name of the car park),…read morewhich is about ten minutes' walk from there (the town is nearer 15-20 minutes). Free from October to March and then it's 50p for 2 hours or £2 a day for cars (see one of my photos for more details). There is a ramp walkway to one side (behind the area set aside for coaches) which takes you up to the main road, which you then follow downhill to get to the beach or town. I give it 4 stars instead of 5 because of the distance to the beach or town which might cause problems for some people.

It's free for three hours for disabled badge users (there are designated bays near the exit) but also very cheap for everyone else - 30p for one hour, 60 for four or only £1 all day!

There are toilets beside the entrance and an ice cream van during the season. From here it's a five minute walk to the lovely beach or, in the opposite direction, to the castle.

It's £2.20 for 4 hours, which is the maximum amount of time you can stay, or 3 hours free for those with disabled badges. I recommend parking here, having a snack in Flanagan's Cafe (in the Discovery Centre) and then walking to Sandy Water Park, around the lake and back!

An excellent, large, outdoor, car park just across the street from the town centre (or Wilkinson in…read morethe opposite direction). It is well signed parking area and easy to find (follow the signs when arriving in Ammanford), and there is a covered walkway to the road. The best thing is the 'pay and display' charge: 50p for 4 hours or 70p all day! Free for disabled badge holders (up to 3 hours).
