He gave me 15 minutes of his time and some good suggestions on where to start, and even referred me to a surveyor named Dan Gilbert who works out in this area and has really low overhead and felt it would be much more cost-effective for me to contact Mr. Gilbert. I'm so impressed by his generosity and willingness to put my interests above his profit. If I ever had a major issue concerning a survey or land boundaries, I'd surely go to Statewide for help. With a staff of 30, they are serious about the business and I'm certain they possess the expertise to handle any problem.

This place was terrible to work with. Contracts were signed in April and the job was NOT started…read morefor two months. They were very slow getting completed paperwork into the county for consideration. As the owner said, we really dropped the ball on this one. My realtor and myself made repeated telephone calls to request updates and we were literally lied to. Papers were claimed that they were submitted and reports should be back later today or tomorrow were still sitting in there desk - I assume unfinished because they still weren't submitted the following week either. Hire someone else! You won't be sorry. It's not worth it to lose the entire building season waiting for these guys.

He even met me at the house about 3 or 4 times before we closed. He was always responsive, which was important to me as I really wanted to be closely updated on progress with everything. He was also communicating with our lender so everyone was always on the same page. On top of that, he has a laundry list of vendors for every possible fix, and even came out to the house after we closed with someone to quote me on getting some trim and doors fixed.
