The lobby is spacious and has a big seating area along with a nice bar that was pretty lively while I was there. Complimentary hot buffet breakfast had plenty of options and again was the best I've seen at hotels offering it. I wasn't too hungry so I didn't eat much but I'd recommend the maple andouille sausage if you like a little kick. The rooms felt brand new. Everything was spotless which is rare in a hotel nowadays. The bed in room 407 was definitely sagging a bit and that would be my only complaint. Looking forward to staying here again next time I'm in the area.

Customer service is terrible. Long story short I had one reservation. Wanted to stay two more nights. They said they can't extend and that a new reservation had to be made. Ok...I've never heard that one. I've stood at many counters and extended before but ok! (For the record the first reservation wasn't points or anything like that as I know then I'd have to make a new reservation). The owner makes my second reservation. I had to come back later and pay. I came back, the owner had left and new staff collected my payment. This morning they tell me they need me to pay and they don't see my transaction. I show them the transaction on my bank app. $198. They continue to tell me that they charged that for my first stay however, my first stay was $349.59. Again, my bank app is the exact same number as their receipt. So, I show them 2 charges on my card for the exact amounts of their reservations, but I'm wrong.... I have to pay again. The customer may not always be right but in this instance, a real businessman not a scammer and his minion, would see that it's not my problem. They'd have confirmed with the nighttime guy that I did indeed swipe my card. At the very least, being a Diamond member with over 120 mights maybe they'd realize something isn't right on THEIR end and maybe say let us try to figure it out. Don't worry about anything for now.... Nope. Sorry sir, I don't care that you already paid...the exact amounts, so I've got to figure out why I don't see it...Nope. We see you already paid it but we need you to pay again. Who does that?? Their processing issue is not my problem. The owner and his guy are a disgrace and shouldn't be in the hospitality industry. I ended up booking rooms myself through Bonvoy at a lower rate and arranged a proper block at another hotel with no problem. Check-in was a disaster. Despite sending names and confirmations ahead of time, nothing was linked. On my wedding morning, my digital key didn't work, and staff claimed I wasn't on the reservation even though I'd booked all the rooms. I had to pull a guest from our group just so I could get into my own room. They also refused to let my videographer up, and my maid of honor had to leave her prep to escort him. The breakfast staff the next morning was clearly overwhelmed, with one server trying to run the whole restaurant on a holiday weekend.

They are not familiar with all aspects of the inner workings of the hotel and they hallucinate (like an AI algorithm)- they make things up just to have a response. So double check what they say. Hilton as a whole is not a good property for people with status. What I'm saying is, it's not worth it earning or maintaining status with Hilton Honors, there's no real benefit. I have never been granted a late check-out request. I don't really get anything extra or special for being a member.

He was ready to help me problem solve along the way and was an incredible ally during a very trying time. As anyone who assists elderly and/or disabled folks or is disabled themselves, displacement of any kind can be scary and exhausting. Having someone help us manage inevitable obstacles was amazing. ***Quick tip for anyone with accessibility needs - there are at least two different types of accessible accommodations at Sonesta. Double check that the room you book meets your needs- if not they may have a better one available. Rookie mistake on my part, but this was an emergency situation.

I told her the issues and I don't think she cared. She at least put me on the second floor a few halls away from my co-worker. It was slightly better I thought. We went to dinner and came back. I walked her to her room because she's younger and pregnant. The halls were filled with pot smell and we are pretty sure a section was dedicated to people living there. I get to my room and when I pulled back the covers the one bed was heavily stained. I thought gross but there's two beds. Well the second one was stained and the pillows too. It was too late to leave so we stayed. Her room was bad but not that bad. I don't believe my room was cleaned/changed after the last stay. Hair was everywhere in the bathroom. Just awful! Points save 10% over time, but holiday inn would only give me 2 out of 3 days points back after 4 emails to hotel management and 40 min. on call with out-of-US IHG customer service. If you really want to have fun, calculate the "standard deviation" of the reviews on this property. There is no homogeneous pattern in the reviews.... and easy to figure out what is going on here. I urge YELP to investigate holiday inn is lower case of course.
