Banking with them was great until I applied for a Credit Card through them and they set up auto payment which unbeknownst to me were being paid 2 days late. I called and asked them why and they said "Whoops." Adjusted to pay on time. Too late, my credit was negatively effected. Then, two times vendors double charged / overcharged my account. NF certainly should have alerted me when a large online vendor charged my account $375.18 twice in a matter of 90 seconds. Instead they fought me tooth and nail. Both times, vendors provided written testimony of their mistakes but NF repeatedly found in favor of the vendor. I had to DEMAND that they actually READ the evidence the vendors and myself provided. It took about 2 weeks in both instances for NF fraud dept. to do their job. Very frustrating! I decided it would be safer for my financial safety to close my accounts (savings, checking & credit card) the first week of Feb. But, in late March I got an overdraft notice in the mail saying I owe THEM $9.83. I call, put ON HOLD, then operator explains that the overdraft fee is because there is no money in my account" and I say "That's because NF transferred my money to my new bank when I closed my account six weeks ago." Her response "Your accounts are not closed. How would you like to pay this $9.83?" Me: "I don't owed you $9.83... If anything, YOU owe ME $9.83 for making me go through all this again!" ON HOLD. Account Management picks up and closes Savings and Checking and waives $9.83. ON HOLD again. Have to listed to prerecorded message. Wants to put me ON HOLD to transfer me to Credit Card services! I demand a supervisor . ON HOLD.... Supervisor is apologetic but frustratingly disaffected. Supposedly all my accounts are closed now, but I can't be sure because they're having issues with their website '502 Bad Gateway.' You just can't make this sheezio up!

Their staff are super helpful, accurate and speedy. The environment is well designed and the banking hours are convenient. I wish they would bring back the coin counting machine; rolling coins yourself is very time consuming and difficult to do with hand arthritis and poor eyesight.

It's in a…read moregreat location and has a drive thru ATM (and just added their second machine...finally) which is even more convenient. Oddly enough, I find myself having to come inside more often than not so I've talked to many of the employees here. For just general tasks, the front desk gets the job done (and about half the time with a smile). They aren't the fastest bunch and last time I was in, an employee asked a customer who was depositing a self proclaimed 'big check' what he did for a living. I guess this isn't a big deal for some, but I think that's infringing on the privacy of someone who might not be comfortable. Having said that, they are generally friendly and ask how my day is. Sometimes the friendliness gets in the way of speed, however, since I've never seen more than 2 people working at the desk at one time. I sat down with a personal accountant to figure out the best credit card option through the bank and not only did the employee take a personal call while I was with her, but she did not seem to be knowledgable at all about my options. After figuring that out 20 minutes later, she recommended I call customer service for more information. It's not the worst BofA branch, but they could use a little improvement.
