Our group was 4 adults, 4 kids, and our dog and everyone had a blast. I had done one of those regular glass bottom boats before and it was honestly boring. This one is way different. The boat has two levels. You start on the top deck cruising King Harbor where you get to see sea lions, and then go downstairs into this cozy underwater room with huge windows on both sides. You can sit right next to the glass and watch fish swim by like you're in a tiny underwater aquarium Captain Erik was amazing. He was hilarious, super interactive, and thoughtful. He noticed when one of my friends didn't have a jacket and made sure she wasn't too cold, let the kids try on the captain's hat, and somehow made everyone on board, including a few strangers, feel included. The sunset was beautiful, the ride was smooth and easy for kids and dogs, and it was way better than we expected. If you're in the South Bay and think you know what a glass bottom tour is, this one will surprise you. I get TERRIBLE seasickness and I did not feel sick for a second! Totally worth the traffic and we'll definitely be coming back.

Porsche pointed out the Le Cordon Bleu College of Culinary Arts in Hollywood that she attended. She gave us pointers on how to shop at farmers' markets and buying produce and allowed us a few minutes of free time to shop on our own. Once back at EATZ, where Porsche is also a cooking instructor, we had Mimosas and snacked on baguette slices and very fresh goat cheese in olive oil that she purchased from the market. We began with the panne cotta - yes, life is uncertain, start with the dessert!! This dish needed time to set. We prepared the fresh beautiful strawberries for the dessert as well. Each team of 2 had their own cooking station and burner. Just perfect for all of us. We made the pasta with basil and set it aside to soften. We worked on the roasted tomatoes with garlic and then the stuffed mushrooms with spinach, shallots, garlic and cream cheese, sprinkled with bread crumbs. We began the meat sauce and when the roasted tomatoes were ready, Porsche pulsated them in a food processor and added it to our meat sauce. Our workout began as we rolled out our pasta. Yes, that was definitely a workout, but so rewarding. We all got the technique down. We learned the correct thickness of the pasta and how to cut and separate them before cooking. Definitely a good appreciation for handmade pasta!! We were then treated to a delicious meal of our own creation!! Devine!! Porsche will be emailing all the recipes after the class. My daughter and I highly recommend take a great afternoon with Porsche and taking her class. She has several menus to select from and we will definitely return in the future!! Thank you, Porsche - you are amazing!!

I can honestly say that I was pleasantly surprised. This tour was full of great information about San Pedro and fantastic food. Chef Porsche was very knowledgable and suggested of other places to visit besides the stops on our tour. The tour included 5 stops and it covered burgers, cuban food, fish and chips, bake goods and a stop at a tea house. Our tour started off at Bunz Gourmet Burgers ( small mom and pops shop) fantastic burger. Will have to come back for more. We went to Cuban restaurant called Punto Cubano with great character and decor. There we had a cuban sandwich that was amazing. Obviously there's other stuff in the menu that you are more than welcome to order at your own cost. We had a delicious flan :-) we had a few stops in between and learned about the San Pedro Port history and other spots. We then hit The Whale and Ale (English pub) for some delicious fish and chips. Alcohol not included in the tour but available for purchase. I couldn't help myself so I had a guinness. We then went over to Hojas for some delicious chai tea that hit the right spot. Hard to pick a favorite as everything was very very good, and if I may add the food portions are just right. Enough to leave you stuffed. Overall the tour was fantastic. I definitely recommend this to anyone who is looking for something new and fun to do. It supports local businesses and is something that you can do on a date, with family, friends or even Solo. You'll meet great people on the tour. I look forward to future tours from Chef Porsche. Thank you Porsche for introducing me to a new are in San Pedro that I would've not know about on my own but will definitely be visiting again soon.

You may think that's what I want . ACTUALLY , the closed windows were great because of the air conditioning! The bus was clean and comfortable especially for an all day tour . 4. I thought we had plenty of time at each stop and the stops were perfect IMO. -Santa Monica -Venice Beach -Beverly Hills -Farmers Market -Griffith Park -Hollywood 5. Our driver cared about everyone . One of our stops , a couple ( from another country) was lost . He made contact with them , made sure they were ok BUT did not leave !! We started with everyone and returned with everyone ! 6. Very knowledgeable about everything LA even the history . He knew something about everything . Plants , trees , buildings , where stars lived , gee wiz things, even things about the other guests states they were from . Everything !! Too much too list . He enjoyed his job . We did not have a vibrant bus but that didn't stop his overall enthusiasm and motivation . I hope everyone have him a tip. He earned every bit of it . Always felt safe , he had road detours , that didn't matter , he found a way around !! Our one time in LA after several trips so why not !! This company is top notch. I was more than pleasantly surprised! Out of the three places we'd visited I'd only previously been to one of them. It was great being able to just sit down and take in a nice snapshot of each place while enjoying a delicious beverage. Each drink offering was different from the rest. It definitely made me want to go back to EACH place to try not only other drinks, but FOOD! It was nice to be provided with a sampling of each location....sort of a 'try it before you buy it' type of approach. I also learned a lot about the musical history of Hermosa. I'd only known about the jazz roots embedded in The Lighthouse, so it was nice to learn there was more. I like this tour because it really is something different. I would suggest leaving the evening open afterwards so you can explore more of the places on Pier Avenue or go back to the ones you just visited. It's such a vibrant location. Had a great time!

Whenever we have family or friends visiting from out of state or overseas, it's one of our favorite activities because it's a relaxing way to see the Port of Long Beach, the Queen Mary, and, if you're lucky, the sea lions. We brought another group yesterday, and everyone enjoyed the tour. The only downside, in my opinion, is the boats used for the harbor tour. Yesterday we were on the Kristina, and in the past we've also been on the Caroline, which we chartered for my mother's ash-scattering ceremony about 14 years ago. Both vessels are showing their age. I also think the marketing could be clearer. The photos on the website and many travel sites prominently feature the newer catamarans, which gives the impression that those are the boats used for the harbor tour. I actually called ahead to ask and learned that the harbor tours use different vessels. While I appreciated getting the correct information, many first-time visitors probably wouldn't think to ask and may expect the newer boats shown in the advertising. The harbor tour itself is still worthwhile, and we'll likely continue bringing our guests because we genuinely enjoy the experience. I just hope Harbor Breeze considers updating or refurbishing the harbor tour vessels and making the marketing a little clearer so guests know exactly what to expect.

There was a lot of people in line. I was in the middle and thought I wouldn't get good seats, but I ended up sitting outside in the front. The boat is really nice and big. The front is the best place to sit with a good view of the whales and dolphins. The inside was packed and you don't really see a lot and sitting outside in the back you could smell the fumes from the engine. I did see dolphins and whales - the mom and the calf. They had a couple of experts talk about the whales and dolphins. We were past Newport Beach when we finally saw the whales. We spent a good amount of time seeing them. Then we went back. It's gets windy. It was a fun experience.

I have rented from this store in the past and enjoyed the friendliness and quality of the rentals…read more My friend and I recently rented e bikes and we were having a great time. We knew we wouldn't make it back in time to return the bikes within 2 hours. We called and informed the associate that we definitely will be late. We were late by one and a half hours. When we arrived the same person that rented us the bikes was in the store to receive them. We let him know we had a great time and immediately asked what do we owe you? He replied to both of us that don't worry about it, I'm glad you had a good time. We said thank you. We chatted a little and left. 2 days later we both received a text message that was an updated invoice. Not knowing why, we called and it was the same associate that said we were good. We reminded him what he said and he declared he had no memory of that conversation. I replied why didn't you have us pay when we were there? He said I realized you were 2 hours late and it's $40 an hour. That was also inaccurate because we both paid $60 for 2 hours. He then told us that he would reduce it to $20 each person. But why did he wait 2 days and how was he not aware of what time we came back exactly and how long we were actually gone. And why did he not call us immediately instead sending us a text invoice. Very bad business decision. We will not be renting there again nor anyone else I know. He knew we were late and we called him 2 times to let him know. So he should have discussed it when we got there instead of pretending he doesn't remember having that conversation that me and my friend both heard his reply 2 days later. Anyway up till then the customer service was great. We wanted to pay but he never brought it up except to say don't worry about it. Too confusing. As a business owner the best way to solve this issue it to always have the customer sign the rental form upon return and call attention to the customer if there is a balance due instead of waiting 2 days later. Or not even a call from this associate at all. Or just forget about it as it was his mistake. And hope for good return business. We paid the $20 each and we would have happily paid the full amount when we were there. We weren't trying to escape paying but we definitely didn't like the shady way of going about getting money from us.
