Location: This is located very centrally in the town of Bedford right by the main church. What is it and what do they do: Well, it's the tourist information centre! They have lots of information about Bedford and the surrounding areas. They sell lots of local produce (eg honey and beer) as well as selling tickets for local events and train tickets. I recommend this place wholeheartedly for train tickets! From Bedford to Brighton (although you can stop anywhere on that line e.g London) return costs just £12.50 - these are only available from this centre. All the staff are very helpful here although they only have a small number of staff which makes the wait a little long when it's busy! read more
