After a fantastic (and expensive) experience buying a bikini at this beautiful store a little over a year ago, I discovered that the suit had stretched out a LOT. This bathing suit was not worn in the ocean where waves could stretch it nor did I swim laps (I use a Speedo for that). It was always hand washed and I wore it less than 10 times.
Fortunately, my fiancé and I took another trip to the Mayan Riviera a week ago. I brought the bathing suit with me to show it to the store manager.
Upon explaining what had happened and how much money was spent ( close to $200 U.S.), they asked me if I had the tags...I did not and never saved the tags I cut off.
They explained there was NOTHING they could do. I even asked if they could do a partial credit so I could purchase another suit. The manager did make a phone call to see if they could offer a solution. The answer was no.
I am extremely disappointed about this and this showed what horrible customer service this store offers.
If you look at all my reviews, you will see that I consistently heap praise and compliments on my visits. It is very rare that I give poor reviews. This is my first.
Touche dooes not stand behind their products. That is very disappointing and buyers should beware. read more
