It was my first time there and I told my tech I had a hair appointment in an hour and I had to call the hair place to push back my appointment twice because it took so long. Just a million little steps that weren't necessary and the manicure itself only lasted two days. 8 nails completely cracked by the time I returned to get them fixed and everyone did the whole "I can't believe it" and "This never happens". But the owner was doing her own nails with poly gel the first time I went in and were in perfect condition 5 days later unlike mine. And then they told me all about how they did show nails before and how crappy quality it is...all while I'm there having the worst manicure of my life take three hours to fix. Three hours I probably would have avoided if it wasn't so insanely expensive in the first place. They told me all about the special paint and polishing techniques and how they used the best but I was there having my time wasted specifically because of those techniques and not one person apologized. Not that I needed one but it was weird being treated like I did something wrong. They said it was the lotion I used dried out my nails.. Just all very strange really, a very weird experience. Its a shame because the girls were so nice. I think if they worked faster and used different polish then she'd get a lot more business. Or maybe the polish is just so expensive that she has to skimp on the paint job, I don't know. But she's not in the right neighborhood for her current style of doing business. They get 3 stars because of how nice they were and the presentation of the shop. I can't speak for the lashes but they looked cute on the girls instagram page

I scoured Vagaro for a same-day appointment, expanded my radius & stumbled upon Complexions. I booked the last minute appointment & drove to OH from PGH. Complexions is a woman-owned, hidden gem skin spa in Poland, OH. Bella was not only kind, personable, genuine, but truly knowledgeable & thorough and passionate. The service was outstanding, & customized to what I needed. I did not feel rushed, and Bella did not aggressively push any products on to me or bash dermatologists as many estheticians do. I felt heard, and felt as though I could be honest with my goal of truly fixing my acne prone skin. I will definitely be seeing Bella again, hopefully soon. Who doesn't love a good facial? ‍‍

We booked in here for a small party for my sister's wedding nails. The spa is very Instagram…read moreworthy, with a pretty lobby and cute manicure stations. The services were OK at best. I requested my standard gel mani/regular pedi combo, and enjoyed the massaging chair and my manicure was well done, minus a few wonky shapes on my nails. My sister hated her service (so glad I paid over $100 for that....), which was partly her fault and partly the salon's. I will say that the bride was a bit distracted, so didn't actually pick or check her colors before application (that's her fault), but for her cream and gold color theme, which she did tell the tech and asked for recommendations, they painted her toes metallic silver and her nails stark white with silver chunk glitter. So she was unhappy about that, but could have checked the colors and asked for an adjustment. She got tips, and didn't think they were well applied or neat. It's hard to rate based on a service that we didn't communicate well on, but I wanted to share anyway. We were there for a group relaxation outing, and they didn't really handle the group well. At one point they had my sister sitting in a pedicure chair by herself, while the others were either wandering around or getting a service in a different room. Again, not awful, but I think we would have appreciated being co-located for the majority of the event. When we went to pay, it was hard to get itemized receipts and the woman cashing us out seemed confused and a little disinterested in the whole process. Overall, it was not a bad experience, just not the best salon service I have ever received.

Hardly spoke to us and if it wasn't for my tech my SIL still wouldn't have known what to do as her tech didn't ask her even what color she'd like. My cuticles weren't pushed back or cut, 3-4 passes were made to shave dry skin from the bottoms of my feet (sides were never touched or balls of my feet), nails were filed only (she did ask but I told her to do what was best), my SIL did get hers cut but they were cut way too short and that resulted in sore toes and the next morning having redness (puss even came out of her big toe where the cut was), the tech dropped the paint brush and proceeded to paint my toes without sanitizing. When asked about our service, I replied it was OK. I then got questioned on the things I mentioned above.. I believe this was the owner, went and consulted with the techs as we stood at the counter waiting to pay and she questioned them through the frosted door... we were happy to pay the remaining balance but did want to be honest. The owner said we as the customer, can tell the techs ourselves what they didn't do. I refused to do that.. as a business owner you take honest feedback and make it right and not question and tell the customer they should tell their staff. It was the most embarrassing, patronizing experience I've ever had. The rest of our party came to the lobby and I didn't want the day ruined with the conflict.. I mentioned I'll pay my remaining balance I just didn't want to ruin the day for anyone else... she STILL proceeded to bring it up against my request. It was by far the most unprofessional experience that could've occurred. I paid the remaining balance of my service and will never go back or recommend.

So update she moved to a new office that is so beautiful with ample parking - the only downside…read moreimho of the old office. Same great service and results.
