At Marcela's 'you get what you pay for' definitely applies. I walked in for a Shellac manicure and walked out with an Artistic manicure (think they're similar). It was not cheap, £50, but for a manicure that lasts me three weeks and took over an hour to do, I think it is almost justified. My therapist did an awesome job. Very neat, very careful and she shaped my nails to the exact shape I asked for. The gel was applied very precisely with no ragged edges, something that has happened elsewhere when I've had shellac done. She also didn't hack away at my cuticles and the skin around my nails, which is a real bugbear of mine: I don't have a lot of excess cuticle, why cut for the sake of cutting? I rate this place in spite of the cost. Tip: they are always book up so worth calling ahead.

One thing that would really make Drakes 5 stars is if they improved their entrance / waiting room. When you enter you're not sure which room to go to (there are two, excluding the waiting room which is in the back). I had to ask for help from a hairdresser who set up an appointment and when I came back instructed me to the waiting room. It was also a bit strange and informal (an employee was having a beer in there... nothing wrong but I would have loved one too!). All in all. Good haircut even if it's slightly on the expensive side.

I was very offended from such rude and unprofessional behavior .  My understanding is that you offer the vouchers to your loyal customer when they purchase package to use them and I never used any of the 5 vouchers ,so anyone would expect from a presumable professional salon to deal with  customers in a respectful ,decent and professional manner ,rather than such disgusting and offensive behavior !
