Three of my friends left the next morning and wouldn't even sleep under the covers. All the buildings had a musty smell. we were having a reunion here and I drove three other people or I would have left the next morning. happy Hour didn't have a bar tender. the food was meh. All that would have been no big deal, but there is no way around biotoxin illness from mold. Everyone in the cabin left sick. We were offered a different cabin but they all stunk! The real kicker? I was offered $25 off my entire bill which is a slap in the face for what we endured. STAY AWAY from this pace for your health!

Six (6) duck hunters at $1400 a day per Hunter, and a pheasant hunt for $600 per day per Hunter. $2000 per Hunter per day. Campsites for the campers are kind of close together, but the tent lots had tons of room! The entire campground is shaded nicely with beautiful trees. It is clean and well maintained as well. The cabins are decent- clean, and stocked with everything you need. Nothing fancy, but the linens were all clean and the water was hot so no complaints here in that aspect. I didn't deal with the front office as my mother in law booked our stay and did all of that. My only complaint would be the other campers/cabin renters. Our cabin was a duplex and our neighbors were not considerate of how much noise they made. Cabins and camper spots are dog friendly, however it's basic knowledge that your dog must be leashed. Our neighbors did not leash their small poodle, and it rushed my two dogs, one of which was blind, several times. We informed them that because one of our dogs is blind, even though he is a nice dog, he could snap at something coming up on him suddenly. This did not deter them from allowing their dog to continue unleashed. I should have said something to the front office but didn't want to cause any trouble. All in all, a good stay, and not the campgrounds fault about obnoxious neighbors.

We liked the Kuerig coffee maker in the room along with the nice size fridge. Check in experience was good too with friendly staff. We made reservations with a phone call and all went to expectation. If we needed anything she made sure we were taken care of no matter what it was... From toilet tissue to the pool.. She and her family was absolutely amazing!!! I have been coming to this resort for almost 30 years. Loved it until now. How times have changed…read more . Over the years of going, I even got to know owners and family. Recently, I spent an entire week fishing with my 84 year old father in June 2024. While I was there, I went ahead and reserved 2 nights for lakeside trailer 5 in October to attend Reelfoot's art and craft fair. In all the years coming to Reelfoot, I have never attended. My wife really wanted to go and we were excited to go. I thought what a better place to stay. Last evening, the owner (Jan) had her employee call me to say they were canceling my reservation. I asked why? Elizabeth-Employee said Jan told her to tell me they are completely sold out until at least end of March 2025. I reminded her I personally made this reservation in June . That week was completely open. no other reservations were in their book. Great.! I made reservations and this was they year. Ha. FYI. Jan's employees are very limited in what they are allowed to do when she is not there in person. Last evening I got the call. My reservations were canceled because they just landed a deal with a large solar panel company and they are housing their employees. She said they are canceling all reservations, not just mine. I asked Elizabeth how she would feel if she made reservations at a restaurant and was later "sorry. We canceled your reservation because they would make more money with this other group." FYI. If you had reservations in late fall 2024 and early 2025, good luck. I was told they are entirely sold out out until late spring 2025,according to Jan's staff. Jan just lost my business!
