I have come to really like Total Wine and More! The store is huge with a massive selection not only of booze of all sorts but also things that go along with it. Juices, mixers, snacks, glasses, etc. I truly love the ability to browse their entire selection online and easily and quickly place an order for pickup. They have great descriptions of the items online including the flavors and tasting notes you can expect in wines and champagnes. Once you arrive at the store, just click the link in the confirmation email or text and the staff bring out your order. One negative - I really wish staff would enforce the parking spaces that are labeled for curbside pickup only. Invariably some or all of these spaces have been occupied by parked and empty cars (clearly not people doing curbside pickup orders). I got home recently after getting a pickup order and found the staff had placed an incorrect item in the order. I drove back to the store, and the manager quickly corrected the error. I also love their rewards program where you can receive $5 rewards and other perks for being a loyal customer. I recommend Total Wine for all your alcohol needs! read more

This was my first wine tasting experience event at a Total Wine & More store. I thoroughly enjoyed it, and feel a little smarter and now I might be able to pick out a good chablis if given the challenge. Not having experienced this before I was pleasantly surprised to find a very nice spread of food trays at the back of the event room, a bottled water, pen, booklet for taking notes, and exclusive discounts made available at the end of the event. The presenter was french and she provided information with a slide show. It was delightful to listen to her french accent which also provided a little bit of linguistic training on accurate pronunciation of certain terminology. Typically slightly more expensive, but today we got lucky and bought a few 4 packs for equal to or less than your competitors. If you are following, you know we went to like 5-6 different places shopping for local beer. Atmosphere - Consistent, good size location. See pictures. Plenty of free mall parking. They are amazing, Sean is very helpful and actually helped me with getting a gin bottle, which was very good. Liquor stores are famous for rude staff but this store takes the cake. They have a nasty attitude, m.o.d included. Two clerks on the floor, both on the computer. No one ask if you need help. This total wine has the worst customer service ever. We went there to get a special wine for our wedding day and we were met with rude employees. The lady took 10 minutes to find the champagne and send a different employee out with the wrong champagne. They move so slow. Everyone was polite and helpful. The store is always clean and orderly. The shelves are well stocked. I was shocked to find that an employee did not know what or where the vermouth was, and I explained that it was the fortified wine to make martinis, and he did not know nor he offered to find out. The products were not labeled correctly, when I brought my merchandise to the register it rang up a different price and the cashier pretended not to hear me twice before I let her know this was not the correct price but I was not going to sit there and argue so I paid what it said. When i go to TW they have signs to buy our wines and get a percentage off your purchase. Today they had 20% off your wine purchase signs all throughout the store. After purchasing 9 bottles I checked out and did not get the discount and was referred to their web page for the restrictions. You had to buy 12 bottles of wine to get the discount. Not slow service, just downright RUDE! Asked the cashier if they had a specific wine, showed her a photo and she said they did have it. I needed 2 cases. She said they would bring it up for me. It was the wrong wine. The manager then came and got completely unhinged and I showed her the photo and she demanded I point it out to her in the store while she ranted on in a very aggressive tone. Completely put out that they brought us the wrong wine and had to get a different one. This could have been handled in a more pleasant manner but she was completely upset and apparently having a very bad day. The cashier couldn't have been nicer or more helpful. The other 2 involved in the "complicated" fetching of the wine need a lesson in customer service. Needless to say I will be going elsewhere. My knowledge of wines is practically nil. If pushed to get a bottle I would probably get an inexpensive moscato. Wanted a "healthy" wine and the staff at Total Wine were amazingly helpful. Raquel, a manager, had me get Cannonav, a red wine from Sardinia. On sale so I purchased two bottles. Will see if that was a good choice. I love coming to this location. Everyone here is so helpful and very friendly. I came here looking for Corrido tequila, which they were sold out of. The associate ( I forgot his name) that was helping me suggested Suavecito tequila and offered a tasting as well. They really do know their liquor because the tequila was very smooth tasting. I ended up buying a bottle and was very pleased with it. Per their website they have over 13,000 different types of alcohol from wine, liquor and beer. No complaints here - what's not to like. Always open and always friendly, you can find everything you could possibly want under one roof. I think the store is organized in a way that makes sense and it's easy to find even the "hard to find". I also love that there are often vendors in store that are there to let you taste different cocktails and beverages. I've found some really great spirits that I would have never purchased without an in store tasting. Parking is plentiful, just use the entire parking lot. If you've never been, definitely worthy of checking out just to see it's awesomeness. Pretty much everything you could want. I believe the did or still do classes. Giving 4 stars for the pick-up service. Although it's not Total Wines fault that people are parking in Total Wines reserved spots for pickup only, the wait for someone to bring the order out was. I showed up and initially had to wait for one of the 4 spots to open up. As I had already signed in for the order to be brought out to my car, I'll know better next time and will go in on my own. It's hard for me to do heavy lifting, so it's nice to have someone bring it out to my car. Also the parking has become difficult in this shopping center especially around the lunch hour. The person that was assisting us was giving us the dirtiest looks and the nastiest attitude. First, let me start off by saying that I have had nothing but excellent experiences with this business in the past. I typically go in and choose my items in person. However, this time, I decided to try their app. I wanted two bottles of Stags' Leap Cab. I noticed that the app showed the Summerlin location had a 2016 for $40 and a 2017 for $30. Since I like my reds with some age, I opted for the more expensive 2016 vintage. I placed the order. I instructed them to allow a friend to pick up the wine. After he did so, he called me to tell me mission accomplished. I happen to ask him to check the vintage on the bottles to make sure they gave him the 2016 and not the 2017. To both of our shock and surprise, they gave him two bottles of 2018! Figuring that this was accidental, he went back inside to show them the discrepancy. The cashier told him "oh, no...whatever the current vintage of that wine is available is what they give regardless of what the app shows." SERIOUSLY? Then why do they have two different prices for the wine, based on vintage? Why did they show AND allow me to purchase this wine through the app if not in stock? If it is a matter that the site hasn't been updated and they were out of stock, substituting a less expensive vintage without notifying me and allowing me to walk out without offering to refund any difference is NOT acceptable. It seems like they were hoping I wouldn't notice and successfully make a higher markup on a newer vintage. I just checked again, eight hours after this happened, and still it shows both the 2016 & 2017 available for purchase and no 2018 on there. To their credit, they issued me a refund and apologized for the inconvenience. That said...caveat emptor, especially when using their app. Personally, I do not plan on doing business with them again. read more
