I've been a patient at TDC since...well, a long time. I saw my chart recently and I believe that it said 2003 (17 years). Anyway, I've had many many many examinations and procedures during those years...everything from cleanings, extractions, bridge work, cavities, implants, root canals, and crowns. Fantastic results, reasonably priced, works with my insurance to minimize my out of pocket expenses, and pretty painless. Give them a try...you won't be read more

1-Star Review Absolutely disappointed with this office. After 10 years of being a loyal patient, they refused to see a mom for appointment because of daughter's bill that had already been sent to collections--which legally, they can't collect on! Worst part? They never even reached out and waited weeks until the appointment. They just lost not only me but my entire family and extended family as patients. Unprofessional and unacceptable. The staff is not professional at all and no care for human life as they acted disgraceful when told of a recent death. Appalling service read more

One stop dental care from cleaning to implants. The professional staff is way beyond great. Detailed estimate of costs before they start work. Love these professional dentists and surgeons. Too bad I did not discover them until I was 75. read more

THIS IS NO WAY REFLECTS TOTAL DENTAL OF MATTITUCK. THIS REVIEW IS SOLEY ABOUT DR BRIAN DAVIS, DDS. IF THERE WAS A NO STAR I WOULD HAVE CHOSEN THAT JUST SO YOU ALL KNOW- HE IS NOT AN EMPLOYEE OR PARTNER IN THIS PRACTICE. HE HAS HIS OWN PRACTICE IN HICKSVILLE. HE ONLY COMES OUT TO DO ORAL SURGERIES. RUN- RUN VERY FAR... I have been a patient at Total Dental since March 2024. It is now late September, and I needed two teeth extracted. I liked that I didn't have to go to a different office than my dentist. I had 2 teeth extracted by Dr Brian Davis last Wednesday. The entire time he and the assistant worked on my teeth, he was complaining about a staff member at his own practice. One of the teeth was infected, but I was not put on antibiotics. Yes, the use of antibiotics can be personal, but know your patient's medical history. 2 days later I returned to the office and saw a different oral surgeon. She was a gem. She said it is not dry socket, it is an infection. When questioned why Dr. Davis did not put me on antibiotics, she made very polite excuses for Dr. Davis. Too bad Dr. Davis did not have the same grace and professionalism. When I saw my dentist on Monday for other work, he stated I now had dry socket and he treated it. I made an appointment for today, Wednesday, in case I was still in signifigant pain. To be sure, I went. I was put in a room and Dr. Davis comes in asks what's going on and he inspects my mouth. He said it wasn't infected. I asked how could that be when the other dr said it was. He said she doens't know anything. She wasn't there. I reminded him I had seen her on Friday. After the third disparaging comment about his colleague, I got up from the chair and asked why anyone would see him if he was going to say such things about a colleague. He replied he didn't care. He told me it was TMJ. I tried to explain it was not a TMJ issue as I am familiar with it. He continued to be rude condescending and narcissistic, so I walked out in the hall and said to the assistant- never again. Dr. Davis chimes in behind me saying I don't care. It's TMJ. I said it was not and explained my education. I really think I was dealing with a 5 year old bc his reply was oh that's right you're sooooo smart. I went to the counter and asked to speak to the practice manager. She was in a meeting and I spoke to her later in the day. She was shocked after I explained it all that occurred with Dr. Davis that he acted that way. She said she had not spoken to the staff yet, but knew that one of the senior partners did speak to him after I left. I want to say again, my dental experiences at Total Dental of Mattituck have been wonderful until I met Dr. Davis. I will NEVER see him again. read more

I'd give zero stars if I could they're that bad. They're Unprofessional, sneaky, conniving extortionists. ALWAYS double check and compare pricing when dealing with this horrid dentist. Also don't bother asking to speak to a specific person who works there..they never get back to you. I never got a call back from the specific doctor i asked to speak with even though hes the one who told me to call if i had any questions or concerns. Theyll be Unprofessional and have someone else call you back and days later at that. currently looking into taking my ordeal to the better business bureau. Very shady practice read more

Do not recommend. Drive the extra 10 miles and go to a dentist that does better work and doesn't overcharge. Hell, I'm driving the extra miles just to not deal with the condescending staff with the superiority complex. read more

A hidden gem!!! We moved from NYC to Greenport this March and we didn't have any of our doctors nearby. We came across TDC and walked out in complete awe. Their expertise, equipment, and most importantly the staff surpassed all of our expectations. Their operation is truly remarkable, it's like watching The River Dance, they don't miss a beat. Thank you Dr. Korn, Judy, Francesca and Rachel. When we return to NYC we'll have to drive back to Mattituck for our visits. read more

STAY AWAY from total dental! This office is dishonest and has caused me harm long after being a patient of theirs. A bridge that they gave me absolutely ruined two previously healthy teeth. I was just forced to have those two teeth extracted due to the bridge causing decay and infection in them. This has caused much anxiety, pain, and expense or me. I've even considered a lawsuit. I was told by my oral surgeon that bridges are not a permanent solution. Total dental never told me that a bridge was a temporary solution, and they never informed me that a bridge can ruin the teeth it covers. This office has also intentionally entered incorrect codes to insurance so that they could make more money. Even when the insurance company informs them, it took the MONTHS for total dental to correct their error. Never in my life have a been involved with a dentist office so dishonest. They also pressure you to add on additional services WHILE YOU ARE IN THE CHAIR, such as an 'oral cancer screening' for $50. Shouldn't an honest dentist be looking out for such a thing to begin with? They also PRESSURE you to visit every six months. My whole life I've always visited the dentist annually. IMO, if your teeth are healthy, and you know how to brush them, use a water pick, then WHY do you need to visit a dentist every six months? It's just another scam to make money. Watch what they charge you for, because they will get away with what they can. I wish I never went to total dental. Total dental has been a total headache for me. Go at your own risk, and question everything. read more

Going to the dentist always makes me anxious. The Total Dental Care team is amazing. Dr. Korn and all of the staff are friendly and caring. From the time you walk in, from the women at the front desk, to everyone you see once you go in the back. Franchesca is my personal favorite. She is always so happy and bubbly. Always makes me feel more calm. The team is very knowledgeable, very friendly and very gentle. I would recommend Total Dental 100%. read more

So I was referred to contact a lady Grace for a appointment. I needed a root canal ASAP. The lady Grace gets on the phone and says "we are not interested". THE WORST dental care, looks are deceiving, I wish I would have known about all the bad reviews before getting my root canal done. It has been two years since I was in the offices and I just had to get my root canal ( which I paid out of pocket) redone, found out that TOTAL DENTAL CARE only did 1/2 of my root canal, got a infection in my tooth and had to re pay for the job again- if these reviews took photos- the x-rays are shocking!!. I actually stopped going because the front desk was rude and did not know how to do their jobs of billing. This is a hack dental office and NO ONE should get any work done at this business. read more

Dr. Korn is rediculously unprofessional and completely rude! After we were already in the chair, he yelled into the room in the rudest most dismissive tone that he refused to see my son! I was completely taken aback that anyone would act so inappropriately!!!! It was an awful display of unprofessionalism!!!! read more

AVOID UNLESS YOU LIKE BEING RIPPED OFF. I've been going to this office for over a decade, and never had an issue with coverage and never received bills. However, in the last few years I've noticed a pattern of repeated billing errors/wrong codes submitted to my insurance, resulting in them trying to collect bogus co-pays from me. Each time they pulled this, i told them I would have to confirm with my insurance co as to whether it should have been a covered service because I didn't expect a copay. BEWARE! Clearly the staff does not know what is covered and what is not. I was told by one person that a simple procedure was not covered, when in fact my insurance said that it was. They also push useless treatments to make $, (FYI: adults don't need flouride treatments!) Upon calling my insurance co, it was discovered that total dental submitted the wrong codes to them. When I informed total dental of their error, THEY ASKED ME WHAT THE CORRECT CODE WAS! Seriously, they are asking the patient? To date, total dental hasn't corrected the codes, and continues to send me bills, for months now, for services that I do not owe. The staff has proved incompetent and unwilling to fix their repeated errors. My insurance company suggested I file a report with the Suffolk County Dental Society, which I will be doing. Total Dental in Mattituck is dishonest. Some of the staff at this office also give will outright you an attitude if you refuse to schedule a cleaning every 6 months. I've gone my whole life having my teeth cleaned once a year, and have no intentions of changing that. I resent the pressure this office puts on making extra appointments. I will never return to this office again. Who knows how many people have paid for services/bogus charges they didn't actually have to pay. This office needs to be investigated. read more
