Yesterday, upon leaving the dentist office I noticed a major oil leak in my 2010 Acura TL . When I started the car the engine oil notifications went off like crazy. The closest service centre was Total Care Car Centre on the corner of Kennedy Rd. and Sandalwood Pky in Brampton. My experience there was excellent. They took my car immediately into the bay and assigned a mechanic to look at it. I was informed of the possible things that could have be causing the leak and the steps to be taken to rectify the issue. Turned out that the leak was from the filter. In my previous oil change at a different service provider, the wrong filter was used. The mechanic did a very good job of cleaning the oil that had sprayed out from the old filter onto the engine. Feroz Khamis the owner/manager has a love him/hate him personality that from the getgo challenges his customers. I personally enjoyed the challenge and was actually successful in making him smile a number of times. In conclusion, I only needed an oil change with a proper filter and was charged less than I would have paid at my car dealership. It was a two thumbs up experience for me. read more

A few months ago my front and back brakes went, along with a wheel bearing. Feroz has always treated me good, so I went where I felt comfortable. Alot of people don't like him. I do. And I've always felt that to get respect, you have to give it. He doesn't put up with shit from anybody. These guys come in with an attitude and it doesn't work with him. He doesn't need their money that bad that he's going to let them walk all over him and treat him like dirt. And I Applaud him for that ! I explained to him, which I really didn't want to do, because I wasn't looking for pity or a break, but I was laid off for a month. So I needed a break for once. I wasn't asking for a reduction in the price of all the work that had to be done, I just needed a bit of time to pay him. I was quite willing to pay full price, because I knew that he did good work for me. He said no problem and after a certain amount of weeks of paying him, I thought that it was almost paid off. From what I had figured out, I still had about a hundred dollars or so to go. So I'm standing there with my money, I hand it to him and ask how much and he says, " Nothing. That's it. You're paid in full." I said, " Look, I appreciate your kindness and your help, but I must owe you at least another $100." I can't believe I said that. Lol. So he went through it again and he says no, we're good. Well I wasn't going to argue any more, so I thanked him and shook his hand. I told him how much I appreciated everything that he had done for me. Then I asked him how much it would cost to do an oil change because my van needed it asap. He said, " Bring it in next week. Free of charge." Well I just got the oil change. He used top grade oil, new filter and we're good to go. 20 - 25 minutes tops and I was out the door. Total charge at Total Car Care, $0$. This shop is a rip off gurus. The owner is so rude that, he can even ask you not to use your phone while at his shop. I went there for emission text and ended up paying $1600 by holding my vehicle for a week for no apparent reason. As a reviewer said, unless you are going there for oil change. read more
