It was Steeles Auto Garage that answered my call. I spoke to Ricky and he gave a friendly vibe over the phone. Took my car in and within half an hour of us describing the issue, he was able to tell us what was wrong. Had the car fixed within 45 minutes of the initial diagnostic. We were pleasantly surprised by the cost. So when my car had a rattling sound and fish tailed over bumps, I took my car in. Again I dealt with Ricky, got results and again was pleasantly surprised by the cost. I've decided to make them MY mechanic. They're honest, friendly, efficient and fair. I've also recommended this garage to a colleague. I highly recommend their services.

Specific maintenance schedules are not followed for different makes of cars, likely because of his old fashion mentality of "if it ain't broke don't fix it". He seems to go by a one-size-fits-all system for fluids, an example is using generic coolant and transmission fluid.

Was left all day with out a car, called in to see when work was to be completed despite being told I was going to get a call, never returned my calls to advise work was completed. Get there and no work was even done, and to top it off a scratch on the car, yet they didn't do it! Warranty issues, etc... etc... etc... I have gone to Simon Bros. off and on for 3 years, and as of 2015 I have to say this is the only local place I'll go to. Other mechanics in the area may offer cheaper work, via workarounds and lesser quality parts, but at the end of the day, you get what you pay for. At Simon Bros., while the cost may be more, you can guarantee that the work will be solid, and that your car will be running as you'd expect. The guys at the shop take the time to work with the customer to get the best solution. Haven't been to a better place for customer service, and probably won't to to anyone since in this area.

The owner (Michael Colacci) and the employees kept me in the loop while my car was being serviced and went as far to show me "my shot control arm" when recommending that I need a new one. 2. The service was quite fast and they did a full check on all fluids and lights as expected when anybody gets their car serviced. 3. The sitting area is quite comfortable and the signs adverting prices and work were simple and easy to understand. Something my mom would appreciate. I would recommend Meineke car care centre and this location to anybody in the Oakville, West Toronto area as it's very easy to access from the Q.E.W.
