We were sat right away and noticed that the menu was actually printed on the table top. Our server stopped by the table and took our drink order. This place has a lot of employees constantly checking to see if you are doing okay, our server was unfortunately just not the best. He was not very friendly and seemed a bit bothered when asking questions about the menu. We were not locals so of course we were going to have questions about the menu. Finally we decided to go with the enchiladas verdes, quesadilla with quesillo and a sope. One thing that I did not like about the server was that he made us question what we were ordering instead of explaining what the dish was. My mom tried ordering 2 different dishes and he told her to start small and then order another dish if she'd like. When our food arrived it was mediocre. My enchiladas verdes were okay, they were not amazing. My mom's sope was lacking flavor. My brother did enjoy his quesadilla.I would probably not come back to this place.

This place is a hidden gem--do not skip it…read more The restaurant itself is beautiful, with an amazing view, and from the moment we walked in, we felt completely at ease. Everything was spotless, welcoming, and thoughtfully done. It's owned and run by a local husband-and-wife team, and that personal care makes all the difference. We truly felt at home. Ernesto was incredible--knowledgeable, attentive, and genuinely invested in making sure our entire family had a great experience. I speak Spanish, but he is also fluent in English, which made everything seamless. The food? Outstanding. My kids ordered the chicken tacos and finished every single bite. I had the tortilla soup, which was easily one of the best I've ever had--rich, comforting, and full of flavor. I also ordered a custom chicken breast stuffed with huitlacoche, and it was absolutely delicious and perfectly prepared. If you're looking for authentic food, excellent service, and a place that actually cares, this is it. Don't fall for the hype of the overcrowded tourist spots--this restaurant is the real deal. Perfect for families and anyone who appreciates amazing food made with heart.
