We loved it so much, went back a second time. We passed…read morethis place on our walk to the center of town. Chuckled that it was an English pub in Italy. (We came to appreciate any pubs we encountered in Italy). Then one rainy night we ducked in for a break, ordering beer, chips and a couple entrees to share. The rain, the atmosphere, the good food, made for an enjoyable night. Then after a full day out and about, Piccadilly was beckoning. Once again it was exactly the comfort we needed. Good drinks, good food and great service. It's got a cozy atmosphere, regardless of the time of day. The staff was friendly and informative, no issues whatsoever. I know there's a popular pasta place around the corner (you pick pasta shape, sauce, etc). But if it's a hearty steak or burger, sandwiches, best bean soup, charcuterie, chips, etc. Then drop by! (Check Google maps for lots of food photos)

At first, I thought there was some confusion, but it became clear that the server was refusing to help us. He directed us to another server who was on break and ignored our questions. Later, I overheard him speaking English to other European patrons. We had a prosecco and a negroni. The Negroni was slightly watered down, but the house prosecco was good. However, the hassle, especially on vacation, wasn't worth it. There are plenty of other lovely places with great ambiance, service, and reasonable prices. Save yourself the aggravation. Also, check out the bathroom--pictures below. This was around 10:15 p.m with several tables being served and actively accepting more guests.

I never write reviews but made an account just for this. The food is the main issue and is…read moredisappointing in all honesty, an absolutely beautiful seaside restaurant close to Naples that serves elegant, ON PAPER, seafood dishes with fish like swordfish, cod, catfish, shell fish and octopus and more that is obviously days old from the taste wether cooked or uncooked, or a severe lack of season that can taste like nothing (how does caviar taste like hardly anything compared to the risotto it's paired with or even the one beer tasted literally watered down) or too much of it to where a single component overpowers the flavor of everything else forcing you to keep it separate. A massive overcharge on small portions for the meals because they try to come off as a fancy cuisine doing decorations with sauces and flowers meanwhile I can make a better tasting fish from a grocery store days from the ocean with just butter and salt. When you take a peak in their kitchen from the door you see tubs and tubs of premade ingredients and sauces dated from the beginning (or even prior probably) week. it may be different during peak hours but on a normal Thursday night not even an hour into dinner service they have 1 single cook/chef doing all the work and two front house staff that disappear or are going on their phones in a way that seems to try and avoid you. The whole experience gave the impression of a restaurant past its prime and only falling more and more from complacency. I'm no culinary expert but from working 3 years in a restaurant in AZ I believe this place could be so much more but fails due to what seems like negligence and monetary greed. At least this is all the impression we got from visiting on a Thursday afternoon not even an hour into dinner service (around 20:00) with only two other tables (only 2-3 people) there with one not even ordering food (don't blame them) TLDR - the risotto was good - The seafood items (fish, calamari, octopus, shellfish)for a seaside restaurant was either old or overpriced for what was given - The drinks are simple but overpriced or marked up cheap alcohol - The kitchen seems understaffed, cutting corners for a restaurant that tries to appeal as high end cuisine ( random take but having worked in a restaurant's kitchen bothers me the most ) - portions are small while trying to appear fancy with decorative items and sauces while being nothing notable - the building itself is very beautiful and creative in design but is contrary in nature to the food served
