Expectations vs reality: I expected to be limited in the amount of food given on the buffet, but I was able to go up to the buffet line for multiple seconds and the meal was great buffet/banquet style food. Although water (bottled only) was an additional cost, unlimited free "mocktails" were given out to all the guest during the time of the meal.

We bought tickets ONLY for the air show. First, they changed the date from September 5th to September 6th and refused refunds. Then they boarded us late, so we were only on the boat for about 2.5 hours and actually sailing for roughly 2 hours. Most importantly, we saw NONE of the air show. The boat basically went in a small circle, never getting more than about 10 minutes from the dock. That was the "tour." We didn't buy tickets for a regular harbour cruise -- we bought an Air Show cruise that was advertised as a way to watch the air show. We didn't see any of it. Highly disappointing and misleading.

We get there just after 11am and then find out boarding isn't till noon. Standing in the sun for almost an hour. A family was in front of us with 2 young boys. They waited and waited like we all did. We and they finally go to start to board the boat and they are in told that no children are allowed because there is alcohol on this boat. What a *hitshow. The boat is docked next to a golf driving range. There is black netting over the entire boat to protect it from the golf balls!! You are looking through thick black netting, not open air!!! So now my partner and I have been waiting 1 hour to board the boat. We get on, DJ music blaring. Eventually a bunch of women all dressed in 70's ourfits tell us it's an "ABBA" party. Huh?!!! So you have to look at the sky through thick black netting, a little like being in a cage. DJ music blaring for 5 hours. Somehow they had a singer to do fo the "ABBA" songs which basically sounded like not great karioke. Maybe this was a good boat at one time in the past, but personally I will NEVER go on this boat again. Thankfully the airshow was pretty good and it was a nice day, so it wasn't a total loss.

The yacht itself is a stunner--huge, spotless, and feels brand new. They also provide excellent catering services. My party for a large group went incredibly smoothly. The on-board staff are helpful and friendly, and I especially appreciated that the owner is always present to personally oversee the events. While there was a slight hiccup with initial communication, their customer service quickly rectified it. The biggest surprise was the value; what seemed expensive initially proved to be completely justified by the high-quality vessel and seamless experience. Plus, when I realized I left something behind, the office team was wonderfully nice and secured my item immediately. If you need a premium event venue that doubles as a huge yacht, look no further!

The narrator had great energy and you can tell she either really loved her job or she enjoyed telling customers the history of the Toronto waterfront. I can't quite remember her name (apologies!) but our tour was on 05/27/19 at noon and our crew (especially the girl who gave the narration) had amazing humor, charm, and sass. We had also missed our 11am tour because we ran late in storing our luggage at a nearby storage locker and the staff person at the window had no issues rescheduling us for the 12pm tour. Amazing!

We went for the Vegan Boat Cruise organized here and it was great…read more The boat has three decks, so theoretically there is plenty of room to move around but I guess for the vegan fest, they overfilled (at least it looked like) the boat and it was quite cramped. The top deck is from where you get all the views. The cruise was of about 4 hours and it moved around from the dock to the Toronto Islands (mostly Center Island) and then, for about 1.5 hours, just circled in the Inner Harbour. It views are absolutely amazing once it's dark and the downtown lights come out. The event itself was great. It was an all-vegan fest and plenty of vendors showcasing their business - food as well as non-food. Many amazing food items and we had a great time. The DJ on the top deck was great and we had a great party too. Absolutely recommended.

I lost the tickets I had printed (recently moved, so papers a mess right now). On Friday I tried calling to make sure we wouldn't have a problem. No answer. The office closes at 5 pm and closed on weekends. But there's no Q&A's section to the website which would be really helpful considering you're closed on the weekends and I'm sure it wouldn't hurt to have that. Anyways I didn't mention anything to my parents and went anyways. I took the confirmation email I had received. I didn't need it. They go by a list a reservation list. So if you're ever in the same boat (haha get it? Boat!), don't worry!!! I liked that they were on time! We lined up and got on the boat, quickly. And left the dock at 7:30 exactly. The seating is very cramped and uncomfortable. You're literally on top of the people next to you. My bf and dad had to move their chairs to the corner of the table to make more room for us. Second, the bar only carries water and pop for non alcoholic beverages. Not all adults drink but that doesn't mean that when out for a meal they wouldn't enjoy a nice punch or beverage other than coke or cranberry juice. Anyways, that was annoying for me! The food was okay. Salad, steamed vegetables, plain rice, baked chicken and salmon. Everything was oaky, nothing special. The salmon was delicious. We all enjoyed that. Dessert was brought to the table. Slices of chocolate cake and a dates cookie pie thing, I don't know what it was. I mean in a way it's good the dessert wasn't good cause I didn't end up stuffing my face with sugary goodness that I went prepared to do! Coffee was available but it wasn't announced and it was only on the upper dinning room. We didn't know until we were heading upto the top deck. The best part was the views. I really enjoyed the concept of dancing under the stars and having the city views. It was romantic and I enjoyed it. The "dj" was okay, there's a lot of different types of people to please and he did his best. I'm happy we went and especially happy I got it with a coupon! Or else I'd be annoyed. Don't get me wrong I still spent a pretty penny on it, for 4 of us after taxes and gratuity it still was a little more than $200. Plus $20 parking and cash bar. (I went on mariposa cruise a few years ago and the food was better and more choices but I believe the regular tickets were more)

The bachelorette turned out to be ah-may-zing in large part to Chris and Tatiana who made our cruise easy and fun. While Chris navigated so professionally while Tatiana handled the drinks and snacks and music - before our cup was even empty, Tatiana had another glass of bubbly for us. We really didn't have to worry about anything apart from enjoying ourselves and pretending to be JLo on a yacht for the day. Our bride to be was over the moon - the boat added an extra level of special to the celebration. We're already planning our next day on the water - wedding or not!

The clubhouse is situated at the end of Gordon street and offers a fantastic view of lake Ontario. Amenities are much like those from a well kept small resort with the convenience facilities like the showers, a staffed bar, multiple outdoor patios and communal BBQ for the members and their guests. Since we joined towards the end of this year's boating season, we did not get to experience the regatta and other fun activities like the Octoberfest planned by the club, but we're looking forward to enjoying the full experience next year.

My son has been going to the summer camps for seven years. I can't say enough good things about…read morethis gem of a summer sailing program. From intro sailing for little kids (called Mosquitos) to more advanced sailing programs (White Sail) to advanced sailing techniques and racing (Broze, Silver, Gold), the WYC is a superb place for smart, active, eager kids who love the water and want to learn many life lessons and skills they will hold onto for the rest of their lives. Our favourite instructor Ian has moved on and now Emma has taken over. My son raves about Emma and the other instructors. Both on water and classroom instruction. The little kids play games too and have fun. Sunscreen required...at least SPF 45, applied at least twice a day. At the end of the year there is a banquet and the kids get their diplomas, have a meal and awards are handed out. Trust me, this is a great summer program. Space is limited. I hope a couple of members review the club itself...seems like a great group of people.
