In the evening, it's surprisingly busy with families, strollers, live music and people selling balloons and pashminas.
On a weekend night, there was a decently high police presence but I did not see nearly enough concrete planters or barricades that might prevent someone from doing something extremely stupid. Barcelona's tragedy is fresh in my mind.
Watch yours possessions. Big crowds, lots of tourists, there are going to be pick pockets.
