Their auto insurance is a scam. They tell you you get big discounts withtheir ironically named…read more"RightTrack" app which then monitors your driving fir 90 days. That is where they ensure you will never het those doscounts or just a small fraction. If you brake even a tad too hard (as opposed to running into aomething) you get dinged. You you drive during rush hour, you get dinged, their uber-vague description of speed, no acceleration, wait...or whatever, if you drive late at night, even just once fir a few minutes, it all serves to increase your raye. Complete bait and switch scam.

Think Twice Before Trusting Liberty Mutual With Your Home…read more This has been one of the most frustrating and disappointing experiences I've had with any company--let alone a home insurance provider. Liberty Mutual confirmed that my home damage was covered, and multiple representatives--along with their own vendors--stated that the water intrusion was not groundwater which. I have already incurred expenses based on their recommendations to identify the root cause: opening my floors and walls (making my main living/sleeping space unlivable for months now). Since then, they've reversed their decision without explanation, conducted multiple inconclusive inspections, and refused to reimburse me or even allow me access to the most recent inspection report of my own property. Despite repeated outreach, they have completely disregarded my concerns by refusing to address the clear discrepancies in their process and communication. What's even more alarming is the extent Liberty Mutual has gone to not help its own policyholder. The repeated delays, withholding of information, and failure to provide clear answers show a disturbing pattern of avoidance rather than support. This isn't just mishandling--this feels intentional. I've done everything right as a policyholder, and Liberty Mutual has handled this with avoidance, inconsistency, and a total lack of transparency.

Edited from 5 stars to 2…read more My original agent was really attentive and communicative. I had his personal email and phone lines to which he promptly responded whenever I had a question. He was even so kind as to let me know when he moved on to a better job. That's when my PKIG experience plummeted. First, I started receiving frequent advertising emails with no option to unsubscribe. My home/auto insurance provider is insanely difficult to communicate with. They send me an obscene amount of paperwork. Although I quickly turn in the information they request, they continue sending the same papers OVER and OVER AGAIN through snail mail. It's PKIG's job to mediate communication between the insurance provider and myself, but they don't do their job anymore. I've also asked them repeatedly who my new agent is, but never received an answer. Fortunately, when I directly ask for something through the general service email address, they do respond and resolve the issue within a reasonable amount of time. It feels impersonal, and because there's not just one agent that might be familiar with me and my policies, I have to explain my entire situation every time. Thanks to the ineptitudes of Westfield Insurance, I encounter the same problem EVERY YEAR upon my policy renewal, so I've had to repeat an explanation of the issue to PKIG for the past 3 years now. If I thought I could get a much better deal, I would switch in a heartbeat. Westfield and PKIG are both frustrating and disappointing. But, is there a really a better option?? Doesn't it seem like everyone kind of sucks these days? ** UPDATE: Maybe everyone does suck, but PKIG sucks the hardest. Contacted them Monday, October 20, 2025 and was told they'd get back to me ASAP. Haven't heard a peep as of Thursday, October 23. Apparently, they don't need my business so I will be relieving them of that burden.

I finally got a hold of Noah Raitz from PKIG. He listened to my story and was able to find the perfect provider for me. He also showed me how I was under-insured in a couple of aspects on both my homeowner's and auto policies. I thought for sure I would be paying significantly more for my new policies since I would be getting better coverage, but he somehow managed to bundle them and wave a magic wand or something to get me LOWER payments! I am so happy and grateful! I am telling everyone I know about Noah and PKIG!

GEICO insurance CANNOT be trusted. They have people who pay to be ensured and then do not pay out…read morewhen an accident occurs. These are the worst kind of people who take advantage of others. DO NOT TRUST GEICO.

Geico MI's only office (Mike Sloan in Farmington Hills) is non-responsive and they certainly won't…read moreback you up when you get crappy service from their national office. I emailed Mike and left msgs requesting a call back and he kept ducking me. I was calling/emailing to complain that Geico's underwriting dept kept asking us to fill out various confusing forms and providing proof of med insurance several times -- and the forms still were never satisfactory for their holier-than-thou underwriting dept. Each time they'd send follow-up emails threatening outrageous rate increases. When I called the local office to complain, I get fwd'd to the national support center and put on hold forever and then the rep that finally answers says they have to transfer you to an agent that is licensed in MI and you get put on hold again! Long story short -- avoid Geico in MI!! Also, the Geico "drive safe" app (that gives you a decent discount) is a pain in the keister. You have to call their national number if you're going out of town for more than few days to warn them that you won't be driving your car -- or else the app complains that you aren't driving and they threaten rate increases and/or coverage cancellations. A really bad "big brother" app to say the least.
