Prior to the procedure they made sure I had everything I needed post operation. During, they were kind and professional, and after Dr. Tromblay called me a few hours later to make sure that I was doing okay, and to make sure I was ready for the all of the post op swelling. He came highly recommended from my dentist and mother, and I know why.

If I could give this office zero stars, I would. What…read morestarted as a positive interaction quickly turned into one of the most frustrating healthcare experiences we've had. Although Dr. Kernizan personally apologized after his receptionist gave us incorrect information about insurance estimates, the rest of the process was a disaster. Leslie and Alicia were consistently rude, dismissive, and unprofessional. Despite multiple calls with our insurance company--including a conference call with a Delta Dental representative confirming Delta was our primary insurance--they repeatedly insisted our insurance information was wrong. They even laughed during phone calls and placed us on speakerphone without our consent. After being told everything was approved, we received a call two days before surgery saying my daughter's procedure had been canceled because of insurance issues. Dr. Kernizan later told us he had never said the surgery was canceled and apologized for the misinformation. We went to another oral surgeon, where the insurance was processed correctly, the procedure was seamless, and Delta covered the surgery exactly as expected. I'm grateful my daughter didn't have her surgery here. The lack of professionalism and poor communication from Leslie and Alicia made this an experience I would never recommend to anyone.
