I have only dealt with them as a job seeker, but they did not impress me. I found the listing for a secretary/bookkeeper on a local job board. I sent my information the local labor office and another copy to Torbert.
I called James Torbert to set up an interview as instructed. I could not believe how rude and brusque he was over the phone. His greeting consisted of a short hello and no professional greeting. He then proceeded to inform me that he found someone for the position who was "perfect" after only one day of posting. I think that he posted it as a formality and had someone in mind that he wanted. He was not prepared to give no other applicants a chance.
Based on this experience, if I ever have any need to have electrical work done, I would not contact Torbert Electrical. They seem very unprofessional. read more
