My very first moments in Hamburg I spend in Barmbek, at this extremely quiet street in Barmbek…read more Totally dissapointed about my new flats location and the lack of crazy party people on the streets, I started to check out some shops in the neighbourhood. It took me about 2 minutes to put back the smile on my face...I bumped into this crazy designer shop, somewhat hidden on an empty parking place. Funky eletronic sounds played by a total dressed up DJ, as well as the staff, welcomed me into this huge warehouse full of crazy must-haves, art, furniture, decorations, plants, designer-stuff ect. You need something...whatever, whatfore...this is the place! For now, I only bought some little asian elephants to put your photos on, decorated with purple/pink diamants. Kitsch!!! Oh..and some CDs I totally felt in love with.. As soon as I get my pay-check I will spend a whole day shopping around, without even getting bored! Never thought I wanted to drag myself back to Barmbek one of these days...Barmbek is definitely back on my map!
